The location is good. About 500 m from Colosseo station
The apartment smells a bit of mildew because it is below street level
location very near to colosseum
basement apartment no natural light gloomy like dungeon
Very good position, close to all turistical places, good public transport, good staff, we spend a good tim
no wi-fi, the appartement in the basement from this reason futiness was in all room, the pics are not form this appartement
Well equipped, close to the center, clean and tidy. Perfect for big families. Host very helpfull.
A convenient setting that provided a good base for the long weekend. Lovely and peaceful overlooking the courtyard
The advertised wifi/internet connectivity was non existent and we are looking for compensation in this area since it was a key factor in selecting this apartment.
Very convenient for the Colosseum. A couple of minutes walk from the bus and tram stop. Tucked away and private. Can't beat it for the price.
UNRELIABLE STAFF They booked our departure transfer which they confirmed the day before. We waited for 45 minutes at the designated waiting area but no transfer arrived. We were forced to tag along our heavy luggages to the taxi waiting area hoping to catch our flight on time which is at 6:15 AM UNFORTUNATELY, we did not reach the luggage drop off cut off time. So my husband and son were forced to wait for the next flight to Amsterdam which is at 5:40 PM so they can bring our luggages. Imagine the inconvenience, additional expenses and cancellation of plans for the day this caused us. This is so far my worst travel experience.
- near one of the stops of the hop on/off buses - beside a very nice church (Sta. Maria de Maggiaore(?) - there is also a taxi rank beside the church not to mention the main train station is just 4 blocks away
- when it rained one night the water managed to get into the kitchen/dining area and there was very little we can do about it. - there is a bit of a smell coming from the interior window so we have to keep it closed.
Excellent location Home feel Fantastic facilities Clean linen, appliances and utensils. Worth the money
Nothing to mention
Great location as very close to the Colosseum and there is a supermarket and restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Very clean.
There is a security door on the block of apartments which is good but the rep arrived late with the keys and so we were stood waiting outside on the streets panicking we'd got the wrong address. Very dark inside the apartment but it is a basement so I guess that's to be expected. No wifi.
close to the coliseum
The apartment was so bad I moved to another hotel at additional cost after 4 of my 8 nights there. no wifi, I bought a dongle and still no intrnet in the apartment, no phone and mobile also unable to connect inside the apartment. Therefore I was entirely isolated, could not research or make bookings. No concierge or information service. Also the shower didn't work properly, the kitchen was very poorly equipped and there were no laundry facilities available. very few cafes or restaurants nearby.
Good location, within walking distance to the metro station, close to local restaurants and bars not touristy at all :) Modern look and generally very good value for money.
Nothing!!! Do not book Casa Girasoli or Casa Alessandra!
Both are basement apartments that were smelly and damp with visible signs of mold. They tried to cover up the smell with an automated air freshener. Beds and futons were hard and consisted of a thin mattress pad, pillows were flat and smelly. Shower did not drain, couches were stained, no wifi service in one of the apartments. Bathroom/shower in one apartment must have been a converted closet; extremely small and you had to sit sideways on the toilet.
Because of the moistness of the room, we could not stay at home.
The location was good and the appartment was big enough. Everything needed was avaliable (sheets, towels, appliances).
For the price we paid (€ 200 per night) the comfort was poor. The shower is dirty and small, the furniture and appliances are old and the appartment is very humid.
It was a wonderful apartment with everything you could want, very comfortable in a fantastic neighbourhood with plenty of restaurants, bars and shopping nearby.
There were no sharp knives to cut either bread or cheese.
Spacious apt,close to amenities ,
Sofa bed in Lounge was broken and very uncomfortable ,details for WFI,connection was incorrectly given at time of arrival,
Excellent, friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location within easy walking distance of a number of Rome attractions including the colosseum and Trevi fountain Easy access to restaurants and shops
Tip Top Location. 10mins from the rail terminus dragging our cases. Wonderful shop nr the metro station 3mins walk. A nice eatery 56 steps away. The best ice cream in Rome a few footsteps further. 100 meters further you see the colosseum. The only time we used the metro was for the Vatican 1.5 euros away, one change, 20mins. VERY quiet apartment. Handy enough to nip back to for a siesta when we started melting. And upload your facebook pics via free wifi. Just what you need for a city break.
The only thing I can think of is that it felt rather cheap of you to not have a little soap or shower gel and very little loo roll (late arrivers beware). But its self catering so we were buying food at the absolutely excellent supermarket 5mins walk, by the Metro station.
I liked where its located.
You musn't live in basement.
was a very nice place to stay, very comfortable
said that wifi was available but then told that wifi isnt in the room and pretty much accused me of being a liar, wifi was very important to us with booking more accom and keeping in contact with family but thats the only thing that we had any problem with
