rhyana was just wonderful, what a genuine, & beautiful woman, she is so helpful & so accommodating , if more people did their job like she does, this world would be so efficient , the promenade was a great location & it was clean and a very nice room & it was a great price for a busy season

wasn't sure if their was wi fi,(didn't ask) but not a big deal to me, i didn't need it but some people are so focused on this when they travel, i found it refreshing to be away from the phone, etc.

Staff were so sweet and understanding. Gave us lots of tips and really went the extra mile. Beautiful view.

Was a bit difficult to find the place. There was no signage. Was a bit noisy at night time.

fantastic location, had a room with a kitchen right near domo

    airconditioner didn't work properly

The location is very good, close to the old part of town yet just outside, so it's easier to get to by car. Clean room, a bit small. You can littlerally walk up to Ponte Vecchio in 2 minutes. The Dome is a few minutes away walking. It's perfect!

Shower is difficult to get in/out (very high step, dangerous for older or very young people). Don't pay extra for the breakfast, it's not worth it. You get a coupon for the cafe next door but service is poor and you get nothing more than a croissant and a coffee, not even a juice for the kids (it's an extra!). Get your own breakfast somewhere else.

Our host was very pleasant and helpful. Room was comfortable and clean.

Quite noisy as there is a busy road outside. The hotel is actually a floor of a building which also houses a dentist etc but this doesn't really have any adverse effect except there are quite a lot of stairs and a tiny lift. They do charge €10 per night for air conditioning and also if you want them to hold on to your bags on the day you leave it's another €10..... We weren't charged this in any of the other hotels we stayed at.

It s not a hotel as it is presented on there are some rooms to stay. Nobody expects you when you have to stay in front of the building and wait for someone to let you in. The photos presented with the view are fake Very disappointining.

Excellent location, very clean, extremely friendly and helpful manager.

Additional charges for all of Italy. 30 euro per day for parking 25 euro per day for small dog 10 euro per day for Air Conditioning The fees added up to double the room cost

Hotel is situated very close to the tourist attractions. Trattoria recommended by the host was perfect. The host is very amiable.

Absence of hair dryer. The breakfast is in cafe across the road. Each card for breakfast cost us 3€, but they accepted it as 2.50€. I advise not order breakfast while booking.

Close to all the sights of florence. Very friendly host, and rooms were very clean and comfortable, nice little fridge to keep drinks cool. Central to everything. We had a lovely view of the river from our room.

Rather noisy on a night, till early hours. No breakfast was provided yet was paid for. Failed to see any breakfast facility. No reception on arrival the doors were closed, a bit confusing on arrival although we didn't have to wait long for someone to arrive. Make sure you inform them what time you are arriving,

Where do I begin? The bathroom was terrible. It was tiny and barely suited to our needs. The beds were made for prisoners, not very comfy at all. They charged us for everything. Air Conditioning, housekeeping. Everything. This is more of a hostel than a hotel. I was just very disappointed in everything. The furniture was unstable and was very heavy to move around. It was also very noisy and the room was small. I felt like an animal.

Location was the best thing about it. The room was very spacious and well appointed.

It was noisy though, with lots of traffic and people out for the evening. Shower would be difficult for elderly people as it was elevated off the floor.

Our room overlooked the river and the Uffizi Museum. There was plenty of space and closet space. The staff is very obliging, friendly and caring.

The staff is not always on site, so you really must have an appointment to check in. Our bathroom shower was a 14" step up. This is higher than you might expect.

    Clean and tidy. Good location.

Noisy. Breakfast was across the street and consisted of a coffee and a croissant. No coffee making facilities in room.

Location, nice clean room and bathroom

Slightly annoying hotel owner, too talkative and quite intrusive. "Hotel" was difficult to find as the hotel was actually located inside one of the apartments on the third floor in the residential building and there was no clear indication about that on the building itself. The site did not present such information, either. In addition, the owner charged us 10 Euros for leaving the suitcases for a couple of hours after check out.

The location was amazing. Very easy to walk to everything and the bathroom and shower were nice.

The lady at the reception only spoke Italian. There was no clock. Hard to get a contact of them when I arrived. Only given shampoo not soap.

The people in Promenade were so friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The location of Promenade is wonderful. You can go from Piazza della Stazione , where the airbus shuttle stops, to Promenade even on foot. Promenade is very close to the Ponte Vecchio one of the best tourist attraction in Florence. There are so many restaurants and a nice supermarket near Promenade.

In the website, we booked a double room with refrigerator, mini bar and hair dryer but when we asked the lady in Promenade about this facilities, she told that just some special rooms have got these facilities. This was not mentioned in the website and it is pity.

Staff is friendly. The location is very near to attractions.

It is a guesthouse. The heater is not working. The access of the building at the back street which is inconvenient although they claimed the place is safe at day and night.

This stay was amazing. The location was within a short walk of the historical sites we had come for, and it was clean and comfortable for all four of us. Considering the location this was definitely a good choice for the value. The staff we met were immensely helpful and courteous, and they even made sure we were able to find our way around the neighborhood. (Though it might be sacriligious to go no vacation in Italy and eat Indian food, I can say the Tandoori in the restaurant on the corner was very good.) I would definitely recommend Promenade to my friends if they were looking to spend time in Florence.

Make sure if you order breakfast that you stay late enough to have it. We were on the road around 0700 and if memory serves breakfast is at 0900.

The location was within minutes of everything we wanted to see in Florence, and we were able to walk everywhere. Looking out the windows at the River Arno was beautiful, day and night. It is located in a very old building, on the third floor, which only improves the view! The bathroom was nice, and the shower was great. We were only able to communicate with the owner by phone and email, but she was kind and concerned about our stay. I wish I could have met her, as other guests spoke highly of her.

Florence is a city that never sleeps, so there is noise, but it is happy - singing, laughing, and people having fun. Simply close the windows and shutters and it becomes silent. We arrived in Florence late in the evening, and checking-in was a bit difficult, but other guests in the B&B helped us out.

Very convenient location close to everything, very close to ponte vecchio. Friendly, helpful staff. Large room with comfortable beds, clean. Secure. Great value for Florence. Breakfast vouchers at the cafe nearby were great, got us up and out, seeing the river first thing in the morning, was really nice. We used several nearby restaurants, all the food was great. But the hotels recommendation of one right around the corner was the best!

The street noise was a bit loud at times, which is odd because the hotel is on a side street and has double glazing and shutters. I think the stone buildings and streets just reflect it. So yes, close the indoor and outside shutters. The hotel inside was nice and quiet.
