Loved the apartment style room and the great location. Wanted to stay there longer. Great value.
It was a bit loud all night long from drunk people outside.
Location, easy walking distance to tourist sites and loads of nice restaurants. Cheap price.
Standard of cleaning was poor, dusty floor and dirty bathroom. Noise, lots of noise from street below at all hours.
Near the leaning tower Pisa was amazing Highly recommend to visit
Expected to open the reception for check in Noisy area
Location and authentic dwelling
Bit shabby in places, no air-con.
- cheap spacious room in the city center
- old dark bathroom - old windows - really noisy neighbourhood (until 4am)
stylish rooms, very friendly staff, central location
location is also the downside - it can be a bit noisy at night and in the morning (garbage trucks)
Price and the central place
No air con and I didn t know it.
Quite big room, comfortable bed, good location, not walking distans (15min from main train station, easy to find)
Restaurant right next to the guest house, which is open till late night-not easy to sleep with open windows /no aircondition/
Noises from the street. Bring ear plugs if you want to sleep
This place is really central and great value for money. It's within walking distance of everything and the rooms are big, clean and comfortable.
The owner's wife was rude and unpleasant... but maybe she was having a bad day (weekend).
Noise at night
I only stayed one night at Gorkij but it would have been fun to stay for much longer. Very large and comfortable but I would say that the noise from the revellers below is quite loud but I did not find this a problem. It's always good to hear people enjoying themselves!
Everything about this place was great, location, price and decor. Bear in mind it's a pension not a hotel, you have to arrange a time to pick up your key as there is no proper reception. That aside I can't fault the place.
It's all good.
The room is nice
It is very noisy at night and was not able to sleep. The windows are not sound proof.
Nice hotel, good location, friendly staff, great price
Little kitchenette, suitable for a longer stay as a rental apartment.
The square near to the hotel building is very busy (also in the late hours). However, the rest of the city centre is like that.
Walking from South to North of Pisa you have: airport, train station, old town, the leaning tower...well, here you are in the old town and it brings you a bit back in times! Unfortunately Pisa may not look as clean as other cities in Tuscana, anyway in exactly 30' we walked with our luggage from the room to the airport :-) Small TV lcd provided, comfortable queen-size bed, the bathroom has a small window. We can recommend the pizzeria just below (not tested personally, but we have seen several clients in the evening). After h 7pm in Piazza delle Vettovaglie you can meet the "young" Pisa for a drink.
As the building is in the old town, some walls/buildings around would need some renovation, but let's take it as a peculiarity of Pisa; after all, our room was very OK.
Make sure you avoid the overflow rooms. Not great at all. As is is a cash up front operation, if they offer you that just walk away. Electrical cables bound with tape, an old smelly bath, ancient fittings in bathroom
Health and safety issues re bedside lamps, poor bathing equipment, noise and lack of air conditioning
It's in the center, very close to the main attractions. It was ok for a night, but not for a longer stay.
The furniture was old, the room was dark and noisy in the night.
Spacious, clean, centrally located.
Very noisy neighborhood.
It is like a budgeted pension. it is clean, but do not expect to find good quality towels, or sheets etc.
It is in the city center, at nights, there may be some noise. Also hard to find the road going to hotel by car, even though we used iphone maps. Room furniture old, but clean. Room smells a little bit old furniture.
Very good location although may be little bit noisy (for me it was not a problem) Room was very spacious nice and cleant every day. Very good price. Stronlgy recommend.
Stuff is available only while check in and speaks only a little bit english. Internet was not working.
Location was great, there is a a good pizzeria nearby :) Staff was very kind and supportive.
- Perfect location if you came to Pisa not only to see the tower but also to enjoy its nightlife - Room is clean and fine, everthing is there - Great price for the value - Friendly owner speaking little English, but almost perfect Russian (French and Italian) All of the negative comments didn't really trouble us, those are just facts about the place. For young couples, backpackers I would totally recommend the place
- You can't pay by card (though that was clearly communicated before) - You need to agree your time of arrival as there's no 24h reception there (those are apartments for rent, not hotel) - It can get noisy in the night as Pisa has it on a very high level (was no problem for us as we were part of it)
all great and really in the middle of Pise
If you are by car Pise is a nightmare to park. The place is on a pedestrian street so if you have a lot of luggage it can be difficult
