Fantastic balcony views . Excellent dinner (but expensive)again overlooking the views.

We loved the location and the friendliness of the staff who were always very helpful. We would recommend the hotel to our friends and we would stay there again. The food was also very good and the views from the restaurant and the breakfast room were spectacular.

The hotel was great however transport by taxi to other towns on the Amalfi coast was expensive and the bus service did not always suit for guests with luggage. This is more a comment about Ravello than the hotel. That said, I souls still stY there and was sad to leave.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Graal, on the whole the staff are very friendly and incredibly helpful, always going the extra mile to make sure we could enjoy our holiday. The location is fantastic, being a few hundred yards from the main square in Ravello, and having plenty of those breathtaking views that Ravello is so well known for. We had stunning views from our room, our breakfast table, the lounge and even from the outdoor swimming pool! I particularly liked the style of the place, the art deco design of the lounge, the bathrooms with marble features and Jacuzzi Showers, and once again the stunning views! The cuddly hotel dog lazing around the reception area proved to be a hit with all the kids which was also nice to see.

WiFi was only accessible from the lounge, whereas I would like to have had access from our room and from the poolside area. The pool was in need of maintenance due to deteriorating paintwork and had very little chlorine in it. I was told this is due to be tackled ahead of the next season. The chairs on our balcony were not especially comfortable and there was a strange smell when we first entered our room (although I understand this is due to a type of cleaning fluid which is very popular in Italy). Unfortunately there were building works going on in the next building down from the hotel, but it would obviously not be fair to blame that one on the Graal.

The staff were very friendly and spoke excellent english, always on hand to help out and make recommendations. The room and bathroom were large with a lovely jacuzzi bath and good power shower. The main attraction of this hotel however are the fabulous views from all the hotel rooms and the pool, looking out over the Amalfi Coast - stunning! And the price compared to other hotels in Ravello is very reasonable. Ravello itself is small but beautiful and surprisingly very lively in the nights with bars staying open til 4am+ in the main square! Perfect location for a relaxing holiday as a couple or with a group of couples. The journey up there from Naples is a bit hair raising on the windy roads but well worth it for the scenery.

The breakfast was quite disappointing - there was no hot food on the menu except omelettes. The fresh fruit available was just fruit that you had to peel etc yourselves or what looked like tinned fruit emptied into bowls. Also the variety of snacks available by the pool was limited. The aircon in the rooms wasn't very powerful - ours was ok but the room my sister had was constantly warm! This isn't a serious default but the layout of the hotel was quite confusing - reception was on floor 0 but all the rooms were on -1, -2, and -3 - took some time getting your head round whether you needed to go up or down when using the stairs. These comments would in no way stop me form going back there though -

This is our second visit to the Hotel Graal. We found it again to be a friendly well run hotel, very relaxing and well appointed. The meals are excellent , very good choice of dinner menus, and the dining room and terrace provide a beautiful setting. We thoroughly enjoyed using the swimming pool and found the location of the hotel near the centre of Ravello very convenient. The staff were very helpful and approachable.Ravello is a very beautiful location with splendid views of the Amalfi coast.

This is a marvellous hotel per friendly, efficiency, location. We will return as often as possible. The restaurant food was lovely and it's no wonder Frommer's used the Graal view for the cover of their book! It is an exquisite view! The staff is remarkably warm and at all times assist in any manner possible. We fell in love all over again because of the ease offered by the hotel!

The owner and staff make you very welcome. The sea views from our room were beautiful. The town of Ravello is delightful to walk around and explore it's history. It's a very good hotel and we would stay there again.

It is now in need of some redecorating.

Convenient location, spectacular views, clean, comfortable bedrooms great swimming pool, excellent food, friendly staff.

The staff were extremely helpfull, and the facilities excellent. The view from all of the rooms and the pool and the dining rooms can't be beaten.

Views beautiful and, even though we arrived very late, welcome very warm. Rooms good for rate and comfortable. Ravello lovely !

Our room was very cold and no form of heating seemed available. We asked at reception but nothing done. Also had to ask when hot water not on but this sorted quickly.
