The room is very creaking parquet floors.

The staff were excellent and made our stay at the hotel very comfortable and enjoyable. The view and situation were excellent.

Fabulous location overlooking the lake and excellent staff. Its grandeur is very slightly faded and the lifts probably need some attention but, that aside, there is nothing to complain about other than the fact that the balconies are quite small and, on the top floor, they don't get a lot of sun. I'd give it 4.75 out of 5.

A very beautiful location, with a lovely picturesque esplanade alongside the lake & with boat facilities just outside the hotel entrance to visit other areas / towns around the lake. All very convenient and suitable for the young and particularly the elderly. Our room was a good size and overlooked the lake without interruption. Very quiet & peaceful. Enjoyable music played in the bar. The good humour of the bar staff and the waiters in the other areas. Obviously well trained. We were delighted with the gent who managed the bar as our arrival was late owing to a wrong turn on the motor way, ending up on the other side of the lake, thus we missed the opportunity for dinner or a normal bar meal; the bar manager MADE HIMSELF AWARE of our plight & ensured a simple but welcome meal for us, which just hit the right spot. Thank you. The maid service was excellent and it was pleasing to return after breakfast and find the room had been made-up, which we always appreciate.

Disappointed, as we find so often in hotels, that the air-conditioning was limited, I.E. we could not control it and as the temperature rose to 29 degrees, it would have been nice to have it at our requirement, as at times it was very hot at night, which is when needed. The very long, stark, rather austere corridors that were not in keeping with the rest of the other pleasing hotel areas. A little thought & imagination needs to be employed in these parts - perhaps some gorgeous old pictures to soften the look with some tall plants and lamps with gentle lighting. Reception staff a little cool they need to smile and become animated i.e. warm up a bit. Most lacked in charm we thought, and yet the waiters were just the opposite, always acknowledged us & very courteous wherever we were. Some good training there we thought. A wedding reception/group was a bit intrusive with regard to the public areas - it took something away from us holiday makers. The above are small points as generally we had a lovely stay, but we understand feed-back is important to you.

Gorgeous location with a splendid front lake view, beautiful grand hotel with magnificent lounges and dining rooms, splendid garden and promenade along the lake, excellent service oriented and friendly staff who are very attentive and try to please clients needs with a great sense of details, very classy hotel loaded with a prestigious history! The place to go to for having wonderful time at the Garda lake!

The hotel was a tired old lady and in need of refurbishing.

The hotel's location is it's biggest advantage as it was for the Grand Tour a hundred years ago. With all the rooms looking out over the lake it definitely gives it an unrivaled atmosphere. Also very convenient for the local places to visit and very near Brescia.

The unavailablity of WiFi in the rooms and the ridiculous charge for even an hour of unreliable connection is not in keeping with a five star hotel where it is usually free. The elevators could do with an overhaul, even a new one. There where parts of the hotel which could do with refurbishment. Luggage collection was somewhat tardy (slow).

Location on the lake very enjoyable, with great local food nearby. Across street parking safe and convenient, though an extra charge.

Dining room pleasant but food mediocre. Didn't try dinners as breakfasts included canned fruits, though some whole fruits available, runny scrambled eggs and only packaged jams. Internet use an extra.

J'ai trouve tres deplace pour un hotel de ce standing de faire payer le parking,(14euros! par jour). La vue de l'hotel lorsque l'on arrive,vilaine facade, triste .

Alles, insbesondere die Lage, direkt am Seeufer, die nahen Berge im nördlichen Teil des Sees, die Nähe von Verona, Brescia, der Service, die abso-lute Ruhe, die Austrahlung einer vornehmen Gediegenheit und vor allem die Möglichkeit unse- ren Dackel, mitzubringen.

Es fällt mir nichts Negatives ein.

Die Lage am See und das Ambiente. Das Personal ist sehr höflich.

Es gibt keinen modernen wellness-Bereich innen. Wenn das Wetter schlecht ist, wäre das von großem Vorteil.Dabei wäre Platz genug. Das ist leider nicht mehr zeitgemäß.

Горничные игнорируют таблички "не беспокоить" и докучают сервсисом два раза в день.

Uns hat alles gefallen, vom Empfang bis zum Abschied. Was uns ein bißchen verwunderte als leidenschaftliche Bildersammler, war, daß all diese hohen Wände in den Treppenhäusern und Fluren ungenutzt/ leer sind. Welche Ausstellungen könnte man dort verwirklichen!
