Villa Igea is on the sea-side promenade in Alassio. The Budello shopping area is nearby. The hotel offers a garden and a terrace with sea views.
Score from 157 reviews Very good
Diana Majestic enjoys a panoramic location on the Ligurian seafront. It features a private equipped beach, and 2 outdoor swimming pools with hydro-massage.
Score from 305 reviews Excellent
Directly on the sea, Riviera dei Fiori is 3 minutes’ drive from the centre of San Lorenzo Al Mare. It offers free parking, a private beach, and air-conditioned rooms with a balcony or patio.
Score from 145 reviews Good
Good rooms, Best place, Nice view, Good SPA with warm water in the pool.
Poor processes. Guy on the beach is absent some time. He gave our places to other guests by mistake. Didn't apologized. On the breakfast sometime waiters don't see you, don't come to you to take order for tea/coffee. Reception guys are dressed too luxury. Looks strange. Uniform would be more suitable.

The wonderful staff, amazing Seafront location, comfort of the rooms. Whats not to like!
The hotel has a great location on the beach. The hotel has its own private beach with your own allocated sun loungers, no putting towels out at 6am!! The beach was all soft sand and the sea warm and clear. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. The room was lovely and spacious and modern. Spa area is good, the pool in particular was great for when the sun had disappeared. The local area is nice with picturesque streets and small shops. We had a lovely time and we can't wait to go back again.
I liked the location, in general. The food and drinks at the lunch bar and the restaurant were Ok.
We had booked a sea view room, but upon our arrival we were put in a room with a street view. When we asked to change the room, we were told that there was a mistake... The room was finally changed but this incident left an unpleasant feeling about the hotel. The room (especially the bathroom) for a 5 star hotel was quite small. The surroundings of the hotel do not look as good as the hotel itself.
The hotel was beautiful, very neat and the staff friendly. The spa area was so relaxing and a great spot to start the day. The breakfast room was in a beautiful spot overlooking the sea and the food was plentiful.
Whilst you did have laundry service and ironing service. I did not like that it took 24 hours to get your clothes if just ironing is done. Usually people on holiday would like to put their crinkled up clothes within an hour of taking them out of the suitcase. My suggestion is either have a service that brings your ironed clothes within an hour or provide the iron like the rest of the 5 star( and less star) hotel do.
It was our second time at the GHA, and they continue to outdo themselves. This time we were joined by my parents, who are particular, and couldn't say enough nice things about their stay. We received a surprise bottle of local Prosecco and Bocci di Alassio as a welcome treat - a very nice added touch. We spent time at the beach and in the Spa, which is one of the nicest we've been to and one of the highlights of the GHA. Free breakfast was delicious, rooms comfortable and the service team friendly and helpful.
The only issue we encountered was not being warned about a beach chair booking system for the weekends. Apparently, if you want a lounger you must book in advance for Sat/Sun. The ridiculous part is that they will hold bookings all day even if you don't show. We had a few hours to spare in the morning and wanted to get some sun and were basically told it wasn't possible without a booking. It took some time to convince the beach boy to let us take some open but booked chairs, and sure enough, the "owners" never showed. We spent 2.5hrs on borrowed time with no trouble and saw many loungers have the same fate. The system needs to be improved and the hotel most definitely needs to notify their well-paying guests of this policy so they can reserve beach time when booking for weekends.
Beautiful hotel, ideally situated on the beach with excellent staff. We have a room with a sea view which was very well presented and clean. I recommend eating at the restaurant on the beach terrace, we ate lunch and it was superb. We stayed 2 nights and nothing was too much trouble from the moment we checked in to the moment we left. Well deserving of its 5 stars and in an excellent location.
The hotel is very beautiful and is located on the outer edge of the city of Alassio. We were there for four days and enjoyed out stay (with the exception of the warm evenings in our room). Max from Tampa, USA
The hotel's airconditioning is not turned on until June 1st each year. We were there the second week of May and it was warm and with the afternoon sun, our room was very warm to hot each evening. I recommend staying in a room on the East side of the building if staying prior to June 1st. I found it very difficult to sleep until after midnight because of the heat.
The hotel is a genuine 5star but the kitchen lets it down bedrooms, public areas and beach are excellent.
Buffet breakfast hot food was never hot. We had dinner one evening and many of the mussels we had were not open which in the uk we are advised not to eat a replacement was offered but we declined. Also the dinner menu was poor with no variety - same menu every night would not have wished to have been on full board.
The private beach and spa were easily accessible from the hotel. The spa was a good size compared to ones often located within hotel premises. The room was comfortable and the breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options.
A few extra items were added onto our final bill, but after pointing them out they were quickly removed.
We liked everything: location, architecture of the building, simplicity and elegance of interiors, views from the windows and the balcony - the sea is literally at the hand's distance. The staff was wonderful, everybody was positive, smiling and ready to help. The SPA is among the best, I have seen and free of charge. I would like especially to mention hotel manager, Felix, who tried to do everything to make our staying memorable. I will recommend this hotel to my friends and will definitely come to stay there again. Zelfira, Moscow
