We relaxed in among a busy schedule touring the Island. This was a lovely hotel in every way and we would thoroughly recommend this venue to anyone wishing to stay in a really good hotel, which in October delivered good value for money. |

The hotel atmosphere was one of comfort ,Grand Style and efficiency.Business like attention and beautiful surroundings. You needed a car to get to the main areas and there were only a few local restaurants within walking distance. However the standard of the restaurants was very high. |

Room, staff and food were very good. We had a good rest. Taking into account the cost of the taxi from the hotel to the center of the town (17-25 Euro), the hotel should provide the shuttle on the constant base. |

Beautiful views. Nicely located and just a short bus trip to Via Etnea in city centre. Pretty hotel. Reception staff not overly friendly or helpful. |

Hotel is situated in a residential area just outside Catania centre. Buses stop just outside the hotel and it is very easy to use the public transport system to shop in Catania. Hotel is very peaceful and being right on the water's edge, you can choose to swim in the pool or in the beautiful Mediterranean. Hotel offers great value for money with friendly staff and a good breakfast. |

Place for breakfast, and lunch was beautiful view. The approach to the sea is also good. The sofa-bed is not flat enough, it was not comfortable. |

Hotel is wonderful due to mix of 2 things: good location and high-standard service. It is situated on the outskirts of Catania (15 minutes by buses 534, 535 or taxi to the centre). The hotel is not big, living there is a good alternative to renting a villa in the country + high standard of service. The beach is situated in the bay, among rocks, the water is ideally clean (especiially at the daytime). I can't but mention the restaurant, regional and authors cuisine is of highest quality and cheaper than in the city (which is not typical for hotel restaurants) Bear in mind that even locals practically daily come to have lunch at the hotel. Drawbacks - its difficult to get accustomed to the local transport timetable, buses go to the centre of Catania as they wish without exact timetable |

Location is both away from town centre noise and crowd and about 15minutes/20 euro of taxi. Very good position. People speak a pretty basic english, but eventually it gives an italian charme to your stay... |

The place was more than half empty most of the time so the facilities were not stretched. The attention the duty manager gave (a nice man with a moustache and a good command of English) to finding us a room that exactly met our needs.Breakfast was better than average for Italy (ie just adequate) and laid out in a lovely setting. We were annoyed by the system whereby some people could bribe (?) the deckchair attendants to reserve the best places round the pool for them. The hotel restaurant is only moderate (and quite expensive), and the restaurants within walking distance are not much better. |

Hotel is very nice and clean.Swimming pool is also nice, together with big green garden. Internet connection is not really speed, maybe cos we were in part not in centarl building.Breakfast is constantly the same every day.Room service unbeliavable expencive!!!! For two persons it is 16 EUR + if you want ham and cheese you must pay another 10,so all in total 26EUR for the breakfast you have already payed!!! Restorans and bars at the hotel are also expensive, for example coffee is 4 EUR, piece of cake is 8 EUR,what is quite a lot, i would say.Beach is very rocky, as in all region around hotel. If you do expect sandy beach, you will have to driver at least 45 minutes from hotel.SPA fascilities are not cheap,as well.Be aware od moscitos in the room. |

Good location, close to the sea, with access to it. Rooms where kept very clean, got fresh towels and sheets every day. Free parking next to hotel. Nice poolside area. Breakfast buffet could use some more variation, but was kept well stocked. |

View, pool and sea-side chairs in the 'lava' rocks with acces to sea The Baia Verde is fine but has a conflict: to please international casual tourists, it also most would need to separate them from the business and (regional) upper-class parties. The staff clealry prefers the business and Matrimonio guests.. That sucks when you travel business all year and just simply want some relaxation and *not* dress up night. We tried the restaurant once (small choice, good food) and later ate at genuine places in the area for a 3rd of the price (wanna see and eat Sicily? Try resto Al Buto at Aci Castello with view on the cyclopi). |

Good location and amazing sea view The Hotel needs to be refurbished, it is expensive for what it offers and the quality of the food offered is far from the sicilian standards. Room are not really clean |
