Hotel was over all good, location and surroundings is too good. Inhouse spa and facilities are super. The complaint I have is, for any soveneir items etc displayed when purchaced in this hotel, they dont accept credit card strictly, only cash is accepted. Moreover, the breakfast buffet was just ok and the spread is very minimal for 25euros which is charged with no variety offered. |

Location Clearly had better days; excellent potential, good staff but needs a lot of spirit; can get much better cheaper and more fun hotels as three stars; price only for location and assumed luxury.. Need a lot of small perks in rooms and food area |

We received a lovely welcome from reception. Our lovely room overlooked the swimming pool which gave us a lovely view of the pool and the lake. Unfortunately we were only there for one night, however, hope to return to this hotel again. |

This was my second stay at the hotel. The reception staff remembered us and were friendly and helpful... And I am sure responsible for arranging us with really good rooms on the 5th floor. The indoor pool and jacuzzi's are a real treat. The outdoor pool, although very cold, is a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy the last of the summer sunshine, and enjoy some ping pong too! While there were not many children at the hotel, the hotel and its facilities lend themselves well to travelling with small children. There were two weddings during our stay, which meant that the pool bar was closed, which was a little annoying, as the staff at the indoor bar were equally busy with wedding requirements and I imagine, room service requests, etc. |

The rooms were very small for the money. Breakfast finished far too early for a resort hotel. The outdoor pool was so cold no guests used it very much. |

The service was excellent and very friendly staff. The food was of a very high standard. It had stunning views of the lake and within easy walking distance of the centre of town |

Amazing breakfast! Very nice and clean bedrooms. Good location The swimming pool was freezing cold. Not a fan of the over-the-top decoration, but that's a personal issue. |

Pool lovely, beds comfortable and good air conditioning in our rooms, boys room not as effective. Rather outdated furnishings, Reception staff rather frosty, gym tiny and weights could do with updating. Little for kids to do, adult pool only table tennis & indoor pool. |

This hotel was very comfortable and had wonderful views of the mountains. The facilities were good, especially the two swimming pools air conditioning and plenty of room to sit in public areas. This hotel was close to Stresa and was easy to reach by train from Milan. The sideways elevator!! |

Landmark hotel on lake front in Stresa, convenient for lake ferries, Stresa restaurants and ski lift. We stayed in good value family triple rooms in rear annex. We missed out on Victorian proportions of prestige rooms with magnificent views at front of hotel but benefiited from lower prices, same high standards of housekeeping and all of hotels's excellent facilities particualarly the two swimming pools. Costs of hotel drinks and breakfast very high. |

visiting the historic sites, walking and investigating areas around the lake, enjoying the restaurants in the town and the family atmosphere the town had. the pool was very cold and facities for disable members were poor, we emailed ahead that we had a disabled child and we probably had the room furthest from the lift, our room was very small when dealing with a wheelchair, no disabled facities such as disabled toilets in the hotel or area to change in around the pool, we also had to go around the back of the gardens to get to the pool area, this is would no longer be acceptable in Britain, some of the staff were impatient and unhelpful, othere were very nice. |

Hotel has only 4 * , but it look like 5. Hotel and restoraunt are very fine, service is very good to. But menu in the restourant is too simple or boring for such place and 3 times expensive than in town. Internet and parking place should be for free. |
