Bed was nice and room had balcony!
Wifi didn't work but we weren't told just given run around and then finally advised this. Was one of the main reasons we chose the hotel and wasn't given anything to compensate for this! The pay tv didn't work, we asked to have it looked at and it wasn't fixed for us. Overall too expensive for what you get!
Best location, historical building, staff excellent this what I like more الفندق موقعه بوسط المدينة القديمة يتمتع كل الخدمات والموظفين يخدمونك بكل ساعده
Nothing big but I know hotel historical and not easy to renovate but small thing like flat tv الفندق تاريخي وقديم نوعا ما بس شغلات بسيطه ممكن تتغير مثل التلفزيون But over I will come back :)
brilliant central location in old city. staff helpful and polite. interesting historic building.
car parking was expensive.
Location, staff and comfort of hotel were excellent. Beautiful hotel and great value.
Wonderful location in the centre of Siena and we had a room on the top floor with a balcony and a stunning view over the roof tops towards the Duomo. Very helpful staff
the courtesy of the staff
being charged 5 euros for a bucket of ice and 9 euros for half a grapefruit
Everything The room was beautiful, with large balcony and view to the cathedral. Huge marbel bathroom. The breakfast was fantastic, with a huge choice of tasty temptations. Staff were a rare blend - kindness itself and at the same time highly professional. I really loved the hotel, and the city.
Nothing Parking could have been a little tricky, but the hotel parked the car for us.
Location and staff
No access to a gym
Front desk staff were incredibly helpful. Location was perfect. Room was decadent and the views were beautiful.
Paying extra for soda at breakfast. Could be a small thing to provide to guests.
We liked everything and enjoyed very much, the friendliness of all of the staff !
Front of house staff cannot be faulted. Charming professional service from all. The hotel is in a great location in the heart of Siena. Great restaurants nearby and in heart of shopping area.
In my opinion the hotel is very tired and musty and in need of a redesign, I struggle to see how it has 5*s as it has no facilities that you would normally associate with a 5*. Carpets, furniture, bathrooms and decoration all need a refresh. The restaurant has a reputation of serving good food, but the restaurant itself does not look inviting at all and in terms of design is rather a muddle. It is worth noting that there is no outside space to have a drink or sit in the sun (although admittedly it is hard to find such places in Siena).
We were staying in this "grand" hotel along with my best of friends for my "wedding". The hotel and my room was like the Sistine Chapel...it was so beautiful. The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I loved this place and will come again and again.
Mattress was a bit hard.
The staff was wonderful and helped us plan an awesome day in Chianti !
The location of the hotel is excellent: few minutes of walk from Piazza Del Campo; in the middle of the city commercial area. Comfortable rooms with high ceiling. Strangely, the pictures on websites don't reflect the luxury of the rooms. Most importantly, the service. During our stay, the concierge gave us suggestions of great restaurants. They could always get us a table, even if last minute on a busy night. Then after our visit... We went to a nearby Post Office to send a parcel back home. For some reasons, the box never arrived at the destination and was sent back to Siena Post office. We informed the hotel of the situation and they have been assisting us to retrieve the box and send it back to us. It required several meetings with the post office people. That's what I call great after sale service!
