The location is excellent. We stayed in 6 different 4 and 5 star hotels during our 15 day stay in Italy. All had excellent locations and all were very nice. This hotel was the most expensive of all, had the smallest room of all and did not include a breakfast. This hotel charged 35 euros per person for breakfast or about $100 US dollars for a couple and did not include nearly the variety of food as some of the other hotels. There are many other nice hotels in Rome with great locations -- I would not recommend this one.

the room was HUGE - even for american hotel room standards. bathroom was also large. roofdeck bar is great. location was perfect - walking distance to all sights, but also close to piazza navona for great dinners. hotel staff was very helpful, always willing to make dinner reservations, book transportation (train tix, taxis), etc. would stay here again in a heart beat

I love the location and the overall hotel accomodations. The service is very good and the rooms are spacious. This is my third time staying at the Minerva and I don't believe I would stay anywhere else. You can practically walk anywhere from this hotel. You are in the middle of the action yet its romantic and quiet at the same time. Would highly recommend this hotel. The breakfast. Too much money for what you get.

Location was excellent for Pantheon and lots of resturants to choose from in the surrounding areas. 10 min walk to Trevi Fountain, 25 to Colesseum. No free Wi-fi and the breakfast is too expensive.

The dining experience at the Roof Resturant was an amazing event....ignore the price the venue is worth more than what the food and wine costs!!! The airconditioning in the bedroom was not up to scratch, and when we complained about it were told that the electricity supply????? Was to blame. And the lady spoke good english so I do not think there was a problem with understanding what we were on about....that was the only area that in my opinion needs attention.

Incredible location with a "not to miss" rooftop bar. A great choice for anyone who prefers a more boutique style hotel that also has first class service. We would stay again and highly recommend it.

Great choice. Hotle Minerve is the best located among the luxury hotels in Rome. Very friendly and helpful staff - also personal little touches. Nice room choices, and the public areas are comfortable and "usable" as well as luxe.

“The location right off of the Piazza Navonna was great. The rooftop bar and restaurant were excellent ( we had our best meal in Italy there).and the views of the city at sunset and night were beautiful. The hotel was very comfortable, good air conditioning, comfortable beds with adjustable positions, We received an upgrade to the executive floor. The room was fairly large for Italy with great bathrooms with wonderful waterfall showers and high quality amenities. The room had a minibar, flat screen tv and good lighting and fairly large closet and dresser. We had a welcome basket and large bottles of water each day along with chocolates, robes and slippers and turn down service each evening. The hotel was small, quiet, with beautiful art work and we felt secure with electronic locks and a room safe. The staff were personable and attentive. The breakfast buffet was diverse and the coffee good. Would definitely return when in Rome.” Barbara, Mt Horeb Wi |
