Grand Hotel De Rose  

Close to the beach.

The rooms haven't been renovated in 20 years. Furniture is so old it may break if you try using it, no kidding. Parking is very small if you're not lucky to find a spot (there are a total of about 15), expect to be looking to park elsewhere. Staff doesn't speak English. Aircon nearly dead. At night, the held a private party at the pool, only 5m from the rooms. The party was on till 2am, with loud music, so guests couldn't get some sleep till it was over. They even took chairs from the rooms to accomodate all the party guests. Needless to say the rooms are not soundproof. The hotel warns that it will charge you 2,5 eur/day if you keep your drinks in their Minibar. Beds and pillows are so hard, dont expect any comfort. Definitely not a 4 star hotel, hardly could be 3 star. Avoid it if you can. No value for money the charge. We travelled 2 weeks through south Italy and Sicily and it was the worst experience on the trip.

Очень доброжелательный персонал! Любая просьба выполнялась незамедлительно. Экскурсия -пожалуйста, на вокзал подвезти - пожалуйста, поставить дополнительный зонтик на пляже, дать вместо двух пляжных полотенец четыре, даже принести скотч для упаковки чемоданов и взвесить последние - все пожалуйста! Честно говоря, ни в каком другом отеле мира я этого не встречал. Конечно, отель не новый, но отношение персонала дорогого стоит. Недаром люди ездят туда по 25 лет.

Ottima la posizione e molto bella e funzionale la piscina. Comodo al mare.

L'arredo delle camere e' un po' datato.

Strepitosa la posizione a soli 30 gradini di distanza dalla spiaggia e 5 minuti a piedi dal centro storico di Scalea. Bellissima la piscina panoramica sul mare contornata da un rigoglioso giardino che fornisce affacci e scorci sulla costa e sul mare davvero suggestivi. Comoda la possibilità di dimenticarsi la macchina per tutta la durata del soggiorno in quanto tutto è facilmente raggiugibile a piedi. L'interno dell'hotel ha ampi spazi comuni e anche le camere sono piuttosto spaziose. Bella l'area colazione in giardino.

Gli interni dell'hotel sono un po datati, necessiterebbero di una radicale ristrutturazione per renderli piu' in linea con un 4 stelle attuale. Pessima l'attuale gestione dei servizi in spiaggia (ombrelloni + lettini) per lo piu dovuta ad un personale sempre molto gentile ed educato ma spesso non dotato della necessaria esperienza nel fornire risposte adeguate e che si richiederebbe per una struttura di questo tipo. Nel complesso però un buon rapporto qualità prezzo.

Personale cortese e disponibile.Molto bella la piscina sulla terrazza vista mare.Il ristorante propone ottimi piatti a prezzi contenuti.Parcheggio gratuito per la macchina.
