“ Beautiful hotel with a huge amount of charm and history surrounding the hotel. Staff were absolutely wonderful and could not help us enough. The breakfast room was a delight to be in. To look out over the balcony to see the snow covered mountains in the morning as the sun was coming up was something we never see in Perth.It was pleasure to stay in such a magnificent hotel. Hotel has lovely character and good location on one of the main tourist Piazzas. Hotel is over-priced for what you get. Room was a bit small, and being an attic style room with sloping ceiling, it was a bit pokey to get around in. Internet access is an extra cost. This is out of step with most hotels these days.

The hotel is beautiful with large rooms, bathrooms, complimentary robes/slippers. The breakfast was delicious and the selection was varied. The hotel staff were very service oriented and the service was gracious and attentive. The location was in the heart of Sondrio, on the main plaza, with an easy walk from the train station. It was close to shops and restaurants. The bar was a nice retreat after touring the area.

Das schöne haus an guter zentraler lage. Trotz kurzfristiger buchung vor neujahr ein schönes zimmer bekommen, Im spa bereich, beim bad und dampfbereich etwas erfrischende düfte.

Staff cordiale, stanza raccolta, atmosfera domestica, carinissima, posizione fantastica sulla piazza principale di Sondrio. Zona spa ben concepita ed elegante, ambienti sotterranei con pietre a vista molto belli. Sala colazione troppo piccola, la gente stava in coda per attendere che si liberasse un posto. Anche il buffet non era granché, e arrivando sul tardi una mattina non abbiamo trovato quasi più niente! Prezzo un po' esagerato, complice alta stagione (periodo di capodanno).

Zentrale und dennoch ruhige Lage des palazzo-artigen Hotels mit großen mit Stilmöbeln ausgestatteten Zimmer, hoteleigener Parkplatz bzw. hoteleigene Stellplätze in öffentlicher TG. Sehr guter Service und sehr freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal, gutes Frühstücksbuffett und sehr gutes Essen im Hotel-Restaurant. Wir haben Sondrio gewählt, da es im langen Valtellina relativ zentral liegt, und man sowohl den Bernina-Pass zum Engadin als auch den Comer See und auch Mailand relativ gut erreichen kann. Ansonsten ist Sondrio ziemlich öde. Sonntag abend ist das Hotel-Restaurant geschlossen, leider gibt es in Sondrio kein einziges ( am Sonntag abend geöffnetes ) adäquates Restaurant, hier sollte sich das Hotel mit guten lokalen Restaurants arrangieren oder doch selbst öffnen, sonst kann es einem wie uns ergehen,daß unser Sonntagabend-Essen aus TUC-Kräckern bestand.

Alles , Die Hotelmitarbeiter konnten nur bedingt beurteilt werden Unser Preis von 140.- € war in Ordnung , 180.- € erscheinen für Sondrio doch " etwas" hoch. Beste Grüße W.schmid

Albergo molto bello ed elegante. La camera pulita e dotata di tutti i comfort. La colazione è ricca e variegata sia per gli amanti del dolce che del salato. Situato nella piazza centrale di Sondrio, raggiungibile a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria.

Sehr schönes. Gepflegtes und wundervoll restauriertes Hotel an der Plaza. Aufwendig und mit viel Geschmack mit Bildern und Skulpturen dekoriertes Hotel. Schöne große Zimmer in Topzustand. Restaurant und Service sehr gut. Ein Geheimtipp!
