The staff were very friendly and helpful. A most enjoyable stay good facilities very relaxing with young children. Would thorough recommend this hotel if visiting Elba.

Great view of Porto Azzuro Hotel needs major refurbishment (dirty halls, furniture,....) and proper cleaning. Even if breakfast is until 10:30, if you come at 10, choice of food is limited. And as English speaking guest, you sometimes feel not to be the preferred client personal...

The staff are the most helpful and friendly people on the island. The view is spectacular and the restaurant buffet is superb. The pools and private beach too are perfect. The speedboat shuttle service to Porto Azzuro is also very prompt and swift. I'd return to this hotel again. The hotel is quite dated in design. Overall it's also slightly expensive.

It is not a 4 star hotel but rather a 2.5 or 3 star hotel. It is a bit dated and tired, but in general relatively clean. Sadly, it is in better shape than the other hotels I have seen on Elba, which is a mass and low end tourism destination. The nice feature of the hotel is the private beach which allows you to stay away from the loads of cheap tourists that plague the public beaches. Welcome to Italy I guess. Lord I miss the usa east coast beaches... The common areas of the Hotel really need a complete renovation / upgrade. Tired and not so clean.

Excellent location with magnificent view on the bay from the room. We had very nice dinners/breakfast, also lunch at the beach was very good. Staff very professional attitude. Large swimming pool and nice beach with plenty of sun beds, To be recommended!

Really enjoyed it and it exceeded our expectations. The only thing that was disappointing was the attitude of the man in the kids club. He only liked boys over about 8, so our 5 year old daughter he excluded. Also very unimaginative activities. everything else wonderful!

This hotel's location is what stands out from the rest. We had a room with a balcony overlooking a bay and out to sea and the view was gorgeous. The room was small but fairly comfortable. Breakfast buffet was quite good for a 4 star hotel. The half board was reasonable value but we felt the dinners were ordinary. The hotel is off the main road but there is a bus nearby and a water taxi across the bay. Staff were very friendly and efficient. It has a lift which goes down to its own private beach was was great. We thought the daily tariff was expensive for a hotel that is fairly shabby and old, although we did enjoy ourselves. The rooms are quite small. The hotel needs renovating.

The swimming pool is very nice and the kids playground for small kids it's a plus. Our 2 year old son enjoyed a lot these facilities. Didn't like the smell of cigarettes the room had. Asked reception to check and they send the cleaning lady with a spray to try to make the smell better. Eventually we found out the smell was coming from the air entry from the bathroom. This put me off a lot about the hotel and the fact they didn't change our room, the shower and the safe were not working but the hotel solved it quickly. Our stay there was ok but the hotel was too business like for our taste.

The staff was very helpful with any need; always friendly and caring. Their private beach area is wonderful and very well cared for and clean. If you want quiet time, this is the place for that. The location to the "town" area is a little difficult...but there is a way to get to the town by a small boat and he even let us "drive" the boat!

Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal an der Rezeption. - Auskünfte in englischer oder deutscher Sprache sind kein Thema. - die Lage des Hotels ist gigantisch - die Einrichtungen und Anlagen sind OK - das Essen HP (Dinner) ist zu empfehlen - empfehlenswerte Zeit zur Buchung ist die Nachsaison im September/Oktober -> weniger Betrieb, weniger Hitze, geringere Preise

Hôtel très très bien place, qui dispose en plus de sa plage privée accessible en ascenseur. Par contre début octobre peu de considérations de la part du personnel, plutôt motivé a organiser la fermeture de l'hôtel (hiver). Grand complexe en brique rouge, chic la bas mais pour des français cela fait plier hlm

Lage Das Hotel ist erheblich renovierungsbedürftig. Obwohl als Leistung inbegriffen, war der Fitnessraum gesperrt. Außerdem fand an drei Tagen ein Oldtimer-Rennen statt. An einem Tag führte der Kurs bis Mitternacht an unsrem Hotel direkt vorbei. Diese Informationen hätten wir im Vorfeld haben müssen, dann hätten wir nicht gebucht.

отель понравился. Отличные завтраки, хорошие ужины. Брали люкс с видом на море, остались довольны. Есть детская площадка и лифт на пляж Не понравился пляж, он в тени и для детей не очень удобно

Se prenotate la camera vista mare la posizione è bellissima. Ottima la scelta tra le piscine con acqua marina e la spiaggia raggiungibile con ascensore. Per chi ha bambini c'è l'animazione la mattina ed il pomeriggio (grazie Andrea e Serena). Si mangia benissimo. Ringrazio il Sig. Domenico per la gentilezza offertaci. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente. Sarà difficile trovare un altro posto così bello dove andare in vacanza.

Ottimo per chi ama il mare e non ha problemi di avere spiaggia a disposizione. Ti tuffi e sei subito nel profomdo blu....nuoti e nuoti fra I pesci...esci dal mare e se c'è frescolino hai la doccia calda (piacere immenso per chi lo ha provato)...Ristorantino a mare con buon pesce o carne alla griglia...Personale disponibile e gentile. Ottima la pulizia delle camere...Favoloso il bar al tramonto e nel dopocena con la luna che lascia la striscia sul mare....e magari col piano bar... Sarebbe buona cosa migliorare I parcheggi...una copertura sarebbe ideale assieme a ghiaia o asfalto....c'è troppa polvere...

La posizione,la comodità di un ascensore che ti porta direttamente al mare ,la cortesia del personale sulla spiaggia incantevole....Da consigliare....Personale estremamente disponibile con servizi da 5 stelle...Colazione ricca e adeguata... Mi aspettavo un arredamentomeno datato....per una junior suite,ma appena apri il balcone vista mare è così bello da togliere il fiato....

Per il nostro breve soggiorno abbiamo potuto verificare la professionalità e gentilezza dello staff, ottima cucina con buffet abbondante e sopratutto la cordialità e disponibilità del maitre, la camera con ampio balcone vista piscina e parte del golfo, la piscina con idromassaggio, ottima posizione e molto tranquillo. Un' esperienza da ripetere sicuramente.
