Don't go for this hotel if you are sole traveller and rely on public transport. This is far away from main location and located in residential areas.
Staff can be more clear with explanations
- very modern room - nice stuff - good breakfast
- good breakfast but no so many food to choose..only few hams and cornflacks..
Air conditioning, comfort
6€ per day for Wi-Fi, 3€ city tax in small letters, water on the floor in the bathroom
The quietness and the view from the terrace is soo good ,, and i found the staff so helpful .
The Internet is not free , and the location is 30 min or more far from the center and only a bus is the transportation to the city center
The rooms are very clean, modern, the bathroom was very clean.
The location is a little bit tiring to go.
No free WIFI.
the room was very hot.
Unfriendly personnel; fighting for breakfast because of touring groups; key to room did not work for three consecutive days (my three colleagues experienced the same problem; experienced laundry problems, etc, etc, etc.
Our room it was very nice not too big but enough for stay in Rome just one day, small but cute anyway very close to the stadium olympic. I can suggest it
Value for money is pretty good!
The rooms are really loud, you can hear closing a zipp from the neighbouring rooms. To thin walls. No shower gel etc. in the room (maybe because special price offer), poor staff, not too helpfull. Located pretty far from the city.
The receptionists weren't helpful. They were very unfriendly. They did't talk with us or did't ask anything for help or city map. We had to ask breakfast time and restaurant and the place where we can get bus. It was the first time for us to meeting that kind of people!
It is a clean hotel with fairly large rooms.
Air conditioning is cancelled at 22:00 in all rooms!
Far to hot in the rooms. Staff not as friendly as in other hotels I have been. Having to pay 6 euros for 24 hours internet
I booked a room with a balcony and bathtub... When I checked in they gave me a room without this things... I complained and they changed me to a room with just a bathtub. Then, after a while the lights went off, I called the reception and they didn't send anyone to check it. I went to the reception and they said there was a problem with the room but they were fully booked so there was nothing to do... When I got back to the room the whole electricity of the room went off... So, no AC, no television, no energy to charge my devices... And again they didn't do anything... Worst hotel I've ever been... Even cheap hostels has better staff and facilities... Oww, and 10€ for breakfast (terrible) and 6€ for wifi (24 hours) is a joke
Rooms were clean Modern facilities Surrounded by cafes and pizzerias
Had to pay for wifi
The staff was rude and unfriendly. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Cleanliness and confort
Some staff negative attitude in term of providing assistance.
Set in quiet residential area with small selection of shops Inc a supermarket to meet most requirements,
Maybe the Italian way but maitre'd was a bit aloof, and no maps or information of places to see, get to breakfast early 7-8:00 between 8:30 - 9:30 it turned into mayhem, no food, no tables, and not enough staff to clear tables for incoming guests,
The bar across the street to be honest !
The room was not ready ontime ! Poor attitute from staff ! Unwilling to turn the AC on ! It was 28°C outside during the day ! Bed were hard ! WiFi expensive and poor connection !
The room was definetly faire and clean. Very decent toilet.
Terrible breakfast (not even a 2 star will have such a buffet) and the restaurant personnel was not as professional as the receptionists and the cleaning people
Room was not dirty
I strongly recommend to avoid this hotel - unless you travel in big organised group. I had a room booked for 2 nights. I received information that there is a technical problem with my credit card. As used this card the very same day to rent a car in Italy, I was sure it works perfectly well. Just to be sure I called the hotel and confirmed my intent to stay in the hotel. To my surprise, upon arrival I heard that I have only one night booked - and they are 'fully booked' the next day. Next morning I heard that there are rooms available... But for the double of original price! Imagine how frustrated I was! I had to find new hotel in Rome within 12 hours! Not the most enjoyable vacation experience... The receptionist admitted that they cancel short, individual stays - to accomodate big, religious groups...
The cleanliness was great. The Staff was very polite and helpful. The room's cleanliness more than I expected. The outlook of the room was contemporary.
Having free wifi internet access would be very good but no wifi is not free. The transportation is a little bit long but can be tolerated when you think cost-effective way.
I will definitely recommend the Grand Hotel Fleming to anyone wants to stay away from the big chaos and trafic of the city being in a luxury district at walking distance from buses and taxy cab to reach any place in the city or downtown. The rooms are very clean and confortable, sometimes it's hard to find a parking spot so the facility backyard will be available at 16 euros per day. wifi is 6 euros per day but it's not "iphone friendly" they will need to improve this service. Breakfast is included and sufficient. "Cornetti" (tipical italian stuffed pastry) are definitely not the best in town. Less than a mile radius several nice stores and restaurants in Corso di Francia and Via di Vigna Stelluti The north zone of the eternal city where the hotel is located is a famous whealthy residential area.
Cornetti, fruit juice, trouble to connect the iphone to wifi
