The hotel is elegant, clean and the view out across the garden and swimming pool to the lake, breathtaking. It's well positioned, close to the town centre and next to the port. The staff were helpful and polite.

Unfortunately the quality of the food let the hotel down for me. The catering staff did their best with the ingredients available to them, presentation was good and the food hot, but they were constrained by the quality of the raw materials they were using. The buffet breakfast was varied, but poor in taste and quality and the coffee undrinkable.

The friendly staff and excellent location always solve any problem you may have in a fast expert way. Would recommend this hotel every time

Excellent location! Right on the lake, literally 20 steps from the ferry, and a very short walk to shops and restaurants of the village. Lovely, very comfortable rooms, tastefully done. Heated pool. Lovely breakfast spread - all the usual you'd expect with fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals, eggs, bacon, sausage, juices, pastries, cheeses etc. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The gym equipment is old and sparse. But then who cares about exercise when in such a beautiful part of the world.

The location of the hotel was superb. Good heated outdoor swimming pool. Al fresco breakfast. Balcony attached to bedroom overlooking the lake. Plenty of comfortable outside seating. Service was very good. The lake ferry station was adjacent. The day trip programme for each day was excellent and the guide very good on the St. Moritz trip. Staff throughout were excellent, friendly and responsive at all levels. Food was quite good but too expensive.

The cost of Transfers to and from Milan(Malpensa)airport arranged by the hotel were exhorbitant (190 and 150 euros). The en-suite bathroom was dingy and dark(room 106). Only 1 dim light bulb. The jacuzzi is an outdated 'luxury'. We would have preferred a decent shower. More could have been made of the balcony: two metal upright chairs and a table were not good enough. The toast machine at breakfast was hopeless. The last update of this hotel was in the 80s; it is due another one. Bottled mineral water should be made available daily in the room.

The pool was fantastic, right beside the lake and the picturesque surroundings were so amazing.

The location of the hotel - proximity to the the town and the water taxis. The hotel's ambience - old world charm with modern facilities.

There was nothing I didn't like.

Excellent service minded personell and relaxing atmosphare, easy communicantion (English), good choice / selection of set dinners, and good selections of wines, also the breakfast was outstanding. We did have a dog accompaning. This is a hotel, easy to recommend and to return to, although we do have a beautiful house in Trevignano Romano, Lazio.

Our room and bathroom was a bit run down.
