Grand Hotel Miramare overlooks the Gulf of Tigullio at Santa Margherita Ligure. You will find a terrace and a salt water swimming pool on the tropical grounds. With free Wi-Fi, rooms at the Miramare are elegantly furnished and have views of the sea or the park. All come with air conditioning and satellite TV. In the summer months, you can relax by the pool, equipped with lounge chairs, umbrellas and free towels. Meanwhile, the spa center provides beauty treatments, massages, and a relax area. Ristorante Les Bougainvillées serves classic Ligurian dishes in the sea view dining room, or out on the terrace. Guests can even try a cooking course run by the in-house chef. After a day visiting the Cinque Terre, a 30 minute drive away, guests can choose from the Miramare's 2 bars. Location is perfect Great design of the hotel and the room views are stunning Beautiful garden Most important, the staff were very friendly and always smiling and always trying to please you. This includes the cleaners, receptionist and concierge Nothing at all

We were made welcome from the moment we stepped out of our taxi. The front desks were most helpful with our several requests. Our room overlooking the sea was ideal and the room staff cleaned it beautifully with fresh linen daily. Dining room staff welcoming. We met the charming owner with his dog which he described as The Managing Director! Nothing

The staff in the hotel was excellent and coming forward, we stayed in the junior suite and we really liked it - the room was clean, the room service very fast, the view from our room was amazing. We wanted to use the spa, however discovered that there is no sauna / spa as such but only beauty treatments. Also, after midnight there is nowhere to get a drink (bar was closed).

The location was superb! It is an old hotel with lots of history and known to be the best in the area. Very pricey! The beds were terribly uncomfortable.

The view in the room is very nice. The room is big and the staff friendly. I would recommend this hotel. And it is close to every thing, if you want to walk.

Location very convenient for town and restaurants Pool area was really superb and not crowded All staff were very friendly and helpful The gardens at back of hotel are beautiful and very well looked after. Well worth spending some quiet time here - it was completely empty Only small negative is road running between hotel and beach, but it was reasonably quiet and did not disturb us, and pool and gardens are above road so you do not even see it I would happily return to this hotel

The hotel is very nice,great rooms with balcon and vieuw over the sea,well equiped bathroom,every day new bedlinen,very good restaurant,eating outside by good weather,nice decoration inside ,friendly and helpfull staff,great beach and swimmingpool. If you like Italian Palace style ,you must go there!The Ligurian coast is very,very beautifull! We are going back next year! The breakfast was very good except that you must pay for jambon,fresh orange juice etc, I think for the price you payed for the room it may be included!

This stunning elegant hotel was a fabulous choice for our 4 night stay in Santa Margherita. Our room had a balcony overlooking the sea and was beautifully appointed with large rooms and a wonderful marble bathroom with double sink. The furnishings in the bar, restaurant and lounge areas were lovely and there was nothing that had been missed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Spoil yourself and enjoy a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location.
