La Via della Giudecca is a design B&B that takes its name from the Jewish quarter of Siracusa in which it stands. It is in the main square, Piazza San Filippo, and offers modern rooms with LCD TVs.

Set overlooking the sea on the island of Ortigia, Hotel Henry's House offers a sun terrace, snack bar and free Wi-Fi throughout. The Duomo di Siracusa Cathedral is a 5-minute walk away.
Score from 357 reviews Wonderful
Set in a historic building, in Siracusa's centre of Ortygia, I Santi Coronati features free WiFi in public areas. Breakfast is served daily on the terrace or in the comfort of guests’ rooms.

Grand Hotel Villa Politi is situated in the center of a spectacular, natural amphitheater, within the ancient Sicilian quarries known as the Latomie dei Cappuccini.
Score from 494 reviews Very good
Overall the hotel was friendly and helpful beyond expectation. I had chosen the hotel for its location which was a convenient walk to most places, especially on the historic island of Ortigia. Reception staff helped me with details of the bus which gave access to much of the city and archeological sites.
cold scrambled eggs for breakfast
breakfast was good and the location on the top floor is nice. during breakfast is possible enjoy nice view and nice terrace
i don't like so much when immediately after check in they ask to pay for the room. especially if they ask a credit card as guarantee.
Nice, friendly hotel. Helpful staff.
No electric plughole in the bathroom so impossible to use any equipment there such as razor, toothbrush, hairdrier or mobile phone charger. Lighting quite poor
Parking. welcome. helpful staff. comfort. excellent breakfast choices. view from the room. shower in the bathroom. comfy bed. A feeling of luxury.
had to re-enter username/password every time you got back to the hotel which was a bit boring. A drink in the bar was quite expensive.
The people-extremely helpful, arranging rental cars, suggesting things to see--yes indeed at arrival our bags were whisked away and at departure, they were taken to our taxi-- The location--very easy to find by car--perfect for exploring both Ortigia and Siracusa. The breakfast--rooftop provide lovely views of the sea and town. The food is very good to absolutely excellent--fresh ricotta with tomato marmalade from the famous Pacchino cherry tomatoes--jams made in-house, even spumante... we had planned only three nights but returned early from a trip to Modica and Noto and Ragusa in order to relax in Ortigia--this hotel costs more than others but it is worth every euro
Excellent location, and superb service from the Hotel. Restaurant was first class.
Hotel is generally looking a little tired.
The bathtub was not fully cleaned one of the days.
This was the last stop for us on a nearly 6 week trip and it was the perfect choice! Everything was great with the facility, the staff and the view. We also very much enjoyed the restaurant. We plan to return here on our next trip to Sicily.
I thought the room was better than the photos I saw on line. It was less tired than it appeared. The room was not large but spacious enough and tastefully decorated with a luxurious bathroom. It was clean and quiet. Breakfast was lovely on the top floor and we were lucky that the weather was just warm enough to eat on the outdoor terrace overlooking the harbor.
I had mixed feelings about the people at reception. Some were very helpful and others less so. They were weak on restaurant recommendations and understandably gave directions with longer but easier routes. When I asked about using side streets which are incredibly charming, I was told that would be fine. I think they should give clients options rather than just the simpler route. Just a minor point. In addition, the old world elegant style, while beautiful is not my personal preference.
Location, staff and nice ambiance.
Rooms are run down need a great face lift.
Although billed as a 5 star hotel, this hotel is really 4 stars given it's somewhat dated interiors. Great seaside breakfast room with wonderful views. Excellent parking lot for a modest fee just across the street really adds to the value of this hotel. Helpful staff- great restaurant recommendations.
Inexcusable for a 5 star billed hotel for guests to hear the loud scrapping of chairs above at night and early in the am from the dining room/breakfast room above all the seaside rooms on the second floor.
Breakfast wonderful Staff very friendly and helpful Hotel very central
bedroom stairs a bit difficult and beds a bit small
Location of the hotel was good, parking was easy, the room was spotless and the quality of the furnishings in the room were good. The overall appearance of the hotel was excellent. The staff were friendly and very helpful with any queries.Laundromat just around the corner.
The room was over two levels. The air conditioning and the cupboard were located on the lower level and the bedroom and bathroom on the upper level. The air conditioning worked well on the lower level but was not effective in the bedroom. A bit awkward having the cupboard on the lower level.
Although not really a 5 star hotel as advertised (a bit too down at the heels for 5 stars)- a great place to stay nevertheless. Great seaside location. Plenty of great restaurants nearby. Wonderful breakfast terrace. Private parking lot is well worth the extra charges.
If you get a seaside view room- be prepared for the fact that you will be awakened very early by the scrapping of chairs in the breakfast terrace which will be directly above your room! This is unacceptable for a supposed 5 star hotel.
Excellent waterfront location, within walking distance of main sighting venues/sites. Helpful staff. We would recommend the hotel to other travellers
location and breakfast terrace/breakfast buffet ,character of hotel, computer in reception area
poor wi-fi connection for hotel of this quality
A beautiful hotel, faded splendour. The restaurant was excellent for breakfast, we didn't eat there in the evening. Staff very helpful and friendly. Bed extremely comfortable.
We didn't like have a 'junior suite'. Very strange layout, upstairs bed and bathroom, downstairs wardrobe and dressing area. It was quite disjointed and would have preferred a bedroom with dressing area on same floor.
Breakfast buffet Parking
No shuttle boat to beach Bedroom rather small
Great location on Ortygia Island & nice view from 3rd floor restaurant
Check in was downright insulting After checking in we parked the car only to get a room down grade on our return We had brother in law with us while he waited to check in to his nearby accommodation - did this cause problems To top it all off we were treated like computer ignoramus while we tried to communicate to them WiFi wouldn't work in room Finally got "upgraded" back to our originally allocated room
We were initially shown into a dark room , described as an upgrade to a suite, that one would have needed lights on even at midday. It was not value for money. However staff were good and moved us later when we asked
Great location and parking for visiting Ortigia. Wonderful terrace bar on teh 3rd floor for watching the harbour. Excellent value
This was a special deal so the room was split level with no aspect which was dissappointing. on balance value for the price.
location, staff, breakfast on the rooftop, hotel has private beach across the bay, private parking across the road
The hotel overlooks the harbour, A rather lovely breakfast was served at the terrace, where you could see the world go by. The hotel owns a lovey private beach and the staff were always friendly and helpful. we will come back!
Hotel style and decor, friendly restaurant and reception staff, car parking, great breakfast
