In the lively Chiaia neighborhood, Hotel Majestic is in the most exclusive shopping district in Naples. All rooms have air conditioning and satellite TV.
Score from 1234 reviews Very good
Located right on the seafront, the prestigious Grand Hotel Vesuvio overlooks the Gulf of Naples, the island of Capri and Mount Vesuvius. These views can be admired from its rooftop restaurant.
Score from 838 reviews Excellent
Created by Kenzo Tange and Associates, the Romeo is across from the ferry port for Capri and Ischia. The hotel features stylish rooms, a rooftop pool overlooking Naples Harbour, and a modern spa.
Score from 308 reviews Very good
Offering 360° views out over the Gulf of Naples, San Francesco al Monte is a restored 16th-century monastery. It is a 2 minute walk from the Corso Vittorio Emanuele funicular stop.
Score from 266 reviews Very good
Service in restaurant for dinner was shockingly poor. No air-con in rooms so had to open windows on to noisy streets below.
Lovely hotel, bags of character. Great views. Front desk staff were very helpful. Free upgrade without asking. Breakfast very good.
We found everything to be a perfect experience.
The welcome when we arrived, nothing was too much trouble, our room was ready quite soon after we arrive even though we were early. Our special thanks to Titsarina and Marco who helped us with train bookings etc, and who's wonderful smiles greeted us, when ever we entered or left the hotel. Thank you all it was a great experience. Marie Kerr
Room on 5th floor was very noisy due to location below heavy traffic at restaurant on 6th floor above room
Breakfast on terrace
We were not there long enough to really rate any negatives.
We only went there for one night before we flew out of naples after spending time on Ischia. It was located fairly high up on the hills of naples with a grate view of the bay and Mt Vesuvius. The roof top dining was great with a spectacular view of the bay and the food was excellent. Staff was very friendly and rooms were spacious and clean.
Restaurant was not up to par. Beautiful location. We ended up sitting inside and the lights were to bright. Food was prepared to look good but just did not taste good. We were hoping for a better restaurant
Very helpful and pleasant
Views location super helpful english speaking staff
The bathrooms are outdated and are lacking the hygiennic standards for a five star hotel.
Clean, spacious beautiful room with terrace and view of the bay. Comfortable bed. Great restaurant; had breakfast and one night dinner there. Staff courteous and accommodating.
Hotel is a little off the beaten track in a fairly run down area. Was refused access to roof top restaurant as my smart chino shorts did not comply with the "smart casual" dress code, which apparently means gentlemen must wear long trousers. Ladies were permitted in shorts and T shirts, so I found this policy discriminatory.
Beautiful Traditional style hotel. Raised location gives great views across Naples and over to Vesuvius and Capri. Friendly and helpful staff try very hard to please.
bath room is too small, parts of the room needs restauration
restaurant, view to th sea
The location. Was a very steep walk to town and was situated away from everything. The views from the hotel are not as grand as they are reported with much of it being over ugly flats and high-rise structures.
The rooftop terrace
the noise that comes from the street especially if you are in the first two floors and I didn't like especially the fact that you could hear the toilette water running from the adjacent rooms, something unacceptable in a 5 star hotel Luxurious.
the position of the hotel over Naples bay is really favorable. the view from the restaurant in the 6th floor is wonderful.
Unfortunately the Parker's reflects also the very bad condition of the town of Naples, which is hard to tolerate anyway and impossible to accept on holidays. The hotel is in urgent need of refurbishment as it's evident in our images. The two lifts welcome the visitor with a terrible smell, which is really disgusting before breakfast. Bathrooms are nice and well appointed, but really too old and shower tab make Always a terrible rhythmic noise very loud. Level of cleaning was very bad and we found items of the previous guests and a lot of dust. We were not wondering to meet a maid at the Spa just a couple of minutes before the opening time cleaning with one hand and smoking a cigarette in the other hand. Once we had a temporary interruption of water, which we can understand considering the quality of the noisy plumbing. Breakfast was average, but staff was often unattentive with few exceptions in a very busy breakfast room and its faboulous terrace. Fruit juices were not fresh, but served in small consumer bottles. We have seen guests preparing by themselves tables with napkins and flatware. Excellent small mozarellas and local pastries as sfoglaitelle were the highlights of the buffet. Very limited seleection of yoghurt and jams. It was quite funny to realizee that cups and saucers did not combine, because they were from various kinds. Bar service was modest and overrated for Italy: Euro 15,00 for an ordinary cocktail and Euro 8,00 for a coke.. But what was most unbearable always was that members of staff were always chattering between them very loudly and also when they had phone call in bar and at restaurant. Maybe this is a typical attitude in Naples.
The Parker's has a fantastic terrace with view on Gulf of Naples from Sorrento coast and Capri till the local beach at Posillipo. Reception staff have been excellent, as well as porters and car valets, all along our stay. This seemed to us a good reflection of the past splendor of Naples architecture and Naples highlights. And the above have been the only positive sides of our stay.
The inconvenient location of the hotel is our only majoy criticism
Staff was friendly and courteous. Our room was lovely
lovely hotel, very helpful staff, also like the restaurant with open views of the harbour front and mount vesuvio.
Spa. These vary very much & although OK its not a great experience if you are a regular Spa user. A firm Sport Massage proved to be too much. If you like a soft relaxing Massage you may be OK. Prices are competitive. There are other Spa's nearby to use though.
Nice hotel with great staff & a very agreeable ambience. Restaurant excellent too. Great balcony views of Naples. Rooms clean & nicely furnished. Deserves its 5 * rating.
Too far from shops and restaurants, it's a very long walk to get to anything. Hotel on a very busy main road.
Beautiful views and lovely hotel
Restaurant and bar rebooked two nights running for exclusive functions. Notification inadequate.
Reception staff very helpful and friendly. Went out of their way to ensure our stay was as pleasant as possible.
The taped music in the restaurant/bar was a little dated and repetitious.
This was our honeymoon holiday and the Grand Parker Hotel was everything we had hoped for; - a central location with outstanding views; a luxurious romantic atmosphere; excellent staff service and room attendance, and very good breakfasts.
The value for money.
The location, the view, the Classy character.
The lift was very slow and cramped
Staff were very friendly and helpful
you could not turn the lights in the bathroom of at night.
The friendliness of the staff and the fact that at reception they spoke English
Everything was excellent
A little too far to walk to the centre of town, only one other restaurant near by, bar prices very expensive
Good room, great view, friendly staff, very good restaurant
