Proximity to my event centre and easy access to transportation/logistics
No african or nigerian food in the restaurant
Staff was very helpful. In particular Guest relationship manager, house keeping and restaurant staff.
Some of the Front office staff. Hotel Facilities, we sent a request for 2 single beds 15 days before travelling. Wasn't there and room was changed after 10 reminders. Bathroom needed maintenance and wasn't fixed till we left after 4 nights of stay.
The room was beautifuly equipped - we received free upgrade. Big comfortable bed. Safe in the room. Great breakfast. Good WIFI. Close to train station. Helpful reception.
There was no warm water after 11.30 p.m., so I had to wait till morning to take a shower. There was a permanent strange noise coming from bathroom - probably problem with air conditioning.
This hotel is located in a relatively quiet business district. It takes roughly 30 minutes to stroll through the park to the Spanish steps or you can hop on the train which is nearby. The hotel also has a complimentary bus that takes you to the Spanish steps at 10am and returns at 6pm. The hotel has had a recent change of ownership which is likely why the hotel is looking a little dated at present .. That being said our room was very clean and spacious and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine but a little limited, it is served on the top floor with a view over the city.
Very elegant and comfortable hotel, spacious rooms (I was upgraded to a suite, but my friend has a regular room, good as well). The breakfast was good but it could be better for this level of hotel. Good Wi-Fi connection.
The hotel does not have parking, and the location is not close to the city centre. They have a free shuttle, but is only once a day, not useful. So, use a taxi 10-15 Euro to the city centre.
This is a good 4-star hotel, with a bit of an Old World charm but not quite the luxury property that its name might suggest. My room was large and stylish, with nice views over the Piazza Euclide and with a comfortable king-size bed and all the other amenities expected in an international business hotel. What I especially liked was the breakfast, which was not only varied and delicious, but it was also served in the elegant rooftop bar from where the guests have a wonderful panoramic view of the Parioli neighbourhood from the terrace or through its large windows.
It is located in the Parioli distrct, which can be useful for people who need to be close to the state institutions and businesses situated there, but not very practical for tourists who want to discover the monuments of the Ancient or Renaissance Rome.
Cleanliness Service Location
No Car Parking
Recently renovated. Beautifully appointed. Friendly staff. Service +. Good restaurant on the 7th floor. Outside of city centre but easy to reach with metro or taxi. Free Shuttel bus at 10am each morning to Spanish Steps and returns at 6pm in the evening. Metro station only 50 mtrs from hotel. Fantastic time.
Whiting about parking
Very poor clothes hangers
We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The area is nice and not so many tourists. Nice restaurants within walking distance. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We travelled with an infant and young child. The breakfast is continental and there is something for everyone.
A bit far from the centre but acceptable.
Nothing at all
We have stayed in many hotels, never have we stayed in a 4 star which should change a lot to deserve even 1 star, some fancy furniture does NOT make a 4 star hotel. They advertise with spa and free gym, the gym is indeed free (4 devices in 10 square mteres of space with no shower) but the spa is €50 for 90 mins with max 2 persons, and is contained in no more than 75 square meters. The room was about the size of a broom closet, with posibility to put down one suitcase, but unpacking was not in order due to the fact there were only 2 clothhangers in the entire room. The bathroom was small, with at least 10 broken tiles, missing and molded caulking, no place to even place a toothbrush. The toilet didn't flush properly. The exterior window did not close, with lots of streetnoise as a result. The staff told us we could find free parking, but that's for max 3 hours, otherwise one has to pay €1,50 per hour. If you ever should find a spot to park at all. Breakfast was terrible, some watery stuff with artificial colorant had to pass for juice, coldcuts came probably from the supermarket and were dried out. With lots of effort one could get ONE cup of coffee or tea, getting seconds was next to impossible. On sunday when we came 30 mins before the end of breakfast time, the staff removed our plates without even saying a word, 5 minutes before "end of breakfast". When we checked out the staff didn't even pretend to care about our complaints. Never, ever, did we have such a bad hotel experience. If you want any hotel this far from the center of Rome you should either pay less or get a decent hotel (or a combination of both).
- rude personnel - no free parking (although stated that it would be) - no shuttle bus every 30 min (although stated that it would be) - SPA is expensive (they wanted to charge us €40 for 1,5 hour) - dirty bathroom (all kinds of stuff came out of the bath and you couldn't shower without making the whole bathroom wet) - not located in the city center - very few eating possibilities in the neighbourhood (no public transport after 23hrs)
Everything! From the first entry into the lobby, we received a warm welcome (Daria if I remember), following by charming briefing about the hotel and surroundings. Our suitcases were carried by a polite associate who even checked TV set(s), and air con in the corner junior suite we got. Bed comfort, cleanliness, sound proofing - all second to none! Breakfast served on the seventh floor was even better than decribed in hotel description. I even managed to find a parking spot accross the street easily on a Firday evening.
To have spent only one night there...
Very good location, just next to the metro- and busstations. Short walk to the Auditorium Parco della Musica. One stop with metro to Piazza Popolo. Good breakfast with nice view from the balcony. Helpful personal and got upgraded to the superior doubleroom. Very good stay in any means.
No green tea available. Thats it.
spa treatment, wonderful decor
breakfast below average (despite grand terrace, extortionate minibar prices)
