The hotel is rightly called Grand and it stands in an excellent position on Sta Lucia's lungomare, both for walking-distance sightseeing and for evening eating. Most (though not all) of the staff were very helpful in connection with the problems described below. To be frank this was both the most expensive and the worst hotel we stayed in in our trip round Southern Italy. It may well be that we were very unlucky (though a chance conversation over breakfast suggested that we were not wholly alone with our problems). Basically first: our bags were taken to the wrong room. When we got to our room (we were upgraded to a newly-refurbished junior suite) it had faulty air conditioning (which we only discovered when we tried to switch it on in the middle of the night), a toilet that didn't flush properly, a jacuzzi that didn't bubble, a basin that didn't hold water, and staff who were either unable to solve the problem (what happened is retrospectively funny, but would take too long to explain) or (in one case) who lied to us. The following day we were switched to another room which was satisfactory. Obviously in Naples there are potential contracting problems, but clearly the room hadn't been checked out and we were effectively guinea pigs. There was, more generally, evidence that the hotel was not well managed. We were given a 15% discount in partial recompense, but of course the issue wasn't about money. But we want to be fair, so before rejecting the hotel do please read other reviews to check out whether we are outliers. And while I stress that most of the staff were helpfulness itself, we didn't expect to be using the words 'Garnd Hotel Napeles' and 'Fawlty Towers' in the same sentence.

Ottima la posizione, zona pedonale, tranquilla,di fronte al mare, vicino a molti bar/ristoranti, a due passi da piazza Plebiscito. Ottima colazione. Hotel un po' vecchio ma ben curato.

Très belle situation, face à la Marina et le long d'une large avenue entièrement piétonne. Le jacuzzi dans les chambres supérieures est très agréable après de longues marches dans Naples !

Het hotel was heel mooi gelegen, we hadden dan wel een kamer met balkon met uitzicht op de golf van Napels. 's Avonds geen probleem om dicht bij het hotel te kiezen uit de vele restaurants. Een aanrader als je Napels wil zien, maar in het centrum logeren zou een afknapper zijn, is veel te chaotisch. De badjassen en slippers, zoals vermeld bij de boeking, hebben wij niet gezien. Dit is niet echt een minpunt, maar het mag niet vermeld worden bij de boeking, als het er niet is.

Nach dem Umbau ist das Santa Lucia wohl das beste Hotel in Neapel. Die Deluxe Zimmer ´mit Meerblick sind sehr geräumig und seit die Uferstrasse zur Fussgängerzone wurde ist das der perfekte Aufenthalt in Neapel. Nichts

La vue sur mer, la chambre spacieuse Le petit déjeuner peu varié avec un personnel peu concerné et du thé bas gamme dans un hôtel qui se veut de luxe , c'est vraiment dommage.

Otelin yeri ve odadan görülen deniz manzarası. Kaldığımız oda no.su.509. Tam asansörün karşısı. Oysaki , odayı satın aldığımızda böyle olmamasını istemiştik. Dolayısıyla koridorun gürültüsü içerdeydi. Banyo kapısı onarım istiyordu, gürültülü kapatmak gerekti. Kahvaltılar rezaletti. Böyle iddialı bir otel sadece açık büfe olarak dört adet ana seçenek, yanında iki ekmek çeşidi, bir yoğurt ve 3 sürahi sulandırılmış güya meyve suyu sundu üç gün boyunca. Son gün özel peynirli omlet siparişi verdik, o da şekillendirilmiş sade scrambled egg olark geldi ve check out sırasında room service artı omlet tutarı olarak 18 Euro ödetmeye kalktılar. Personel çok samimi değil. Sadece para kazanmaya odaklı bir yönetim var. Ayrıca bu ülkeye gidecekler çok dikkatli olmalı ve havaalanı otel transferini private şirketlerle sağlamalarını öneririz çünkü taksi şoförlerine ödedikleriniz limuzin servisinden fazla tutuyor ve çok aç gözlüler. 8-10 km. Lik havaalanı yolunu çevre yolundan getirdiği için 46 Euro ödeyerek katettik. Yani nereye giderseniz gidin çok dolaştırıyorlar. Ayrıca, sakın vegeteryan pizza istemeyin çünkü bize gelen, bildiğiniz sade pide üzerine , marul, roko, dereoto, 3 domates parçası ve 4 minik yuvarlak peynirdi. Yani, pideli salata.!!!!! Fiyatını tahmin edersiniz!!!! Pompei tarafına giderseniz, treni seçin. Ama oradaki resoranlara daha da dikkat edin. 2 sebzeli pizza ve iki soft içecek 57 Euro!!!! Napoli seyahatimiz,bize bir daha güney i̇talyaya gitmememiz gerektiğini öğretmiş oldu.üstelik, bir i̇talyan arkadaşımız bu konuyu bize defalarca hatırlatmışken...

Nápoly koszos és rengeteg a rendőr ami jó! A szálloda környéke biztonságos. A szálloda elött a taxis 20 EUr. Vitt be a Toledo ( spanyol negyedbe) vissza 6,2 jöttünk valószínű az a reális ár. A szálloda remek!
