I was travelling with my husband and my friends who have a 4 year old child. We obtained a very good discount through booking.com and had lovely rooms. The staff were very welcoming and although many had very little English and we had even less Italian, we all managed to get by and they went out of their way to help. It was an enjoyable and comfortable stay, great parking, lovely grounds, thermal spa for use of guests. There is an outdoor swimming pool which doesn't open until the main season in May. Breakfast buffet covers all preferences and bar has free Italian snacks (mini pizzas, breads and savouries) in the evening. For anyone who thinks the hotel smells strange - it's a thermal spa! The hot spa spring is slightly sulphurous.

Il centro termale, la pulizia della stanza, la professionalità dello staff L'arredamento dell'albergo (alcune moquette) sentono un po' il peso degli anni. Il prezzo della camera executive è aumentato di 30€ rispetto all'anno scorso

Avendo prenotato tramite booking mi e' stato riferito solo in loco che non avrei avuto libero accesso al centro benessere che quindi ho dovuto pagare a parte!! Non c'erano quindi in camera ne le ciabatte ne l'accapatoio..

Le offerte in bassa stagione sono veramente eccellenti nel rapporto qualità/prezzo. Si può usufruire di un hotel quattro stelle suoerior al prezzo di una struttura di livello decisamente inferiore. Stanza molto grande, e un generale stato di ottima conservazione dello stabile, a dispetto dell'età della struttura. Il termostato della stanza era regolato su 21°C e lo scaldasalviette del bagno andava a massimo regime, creando una fastidiosa sensazione "tropicale", che io personalmente non gradisco (ma è un fatto personale). Questo, va sottolineato, è purtroppo un atteggiamento generalizzato delle strutture alberghiere.

Gentilezza e professionalità dello staff Sinceramente ci sono rimasto parecchio male dal fatto che, prenotando la stanza da booking con una super offerta, con mia grande sorpresa nella prenotazione non era incluso l'ingresso al centro benessere (il costo dell'ingresso per 2 persone per 2 ore circa è costato di più rispetto al costo della camera con colazione per una notte!!!). Io e la mia compagna soggiorniamo spesso in strutture con centri benessere in quanto ci piace questo tipo di mini vacanza e non mi è mai capitata una cosa del genere. In tutte le precedenti strutture nelle quali ho avuto esperienza, l'ingresso alla zona benessere era inclusa nel soggiorno al prezzo offerto. Anche perchè mi chiedo una cosa, se vai a Castrocaro al Grandhotel terme e non puoi accedere al centro benessere, cosa vai a fare??? Non capisco proprio questa linea commerciale di dividere I prezzi delle stanze includendo o meno l'ingresso alla zona spa. Altra cosa molto importante, su booking questa differenza non era per nulla evidenziata, anzi, la descrizione dell'hotel e le foto traggono in inganno molto facilmente il visitatore che intende acquistare la prenotazione. In fine, la zona benessere lascia molto a desiderare, è vecchia e tenuta piuttosto male, visto quanto costa l'ingresso mi aspettavo sicuramente qualcosa di molto più curato e particolare (parlo sempre confrontando strutture simili già visitate e circa a parità di prezzo).

Ottimo per benessere-relax, soprattutto per gli ambienti rilassanti creati ad arte con giochi di luce e musica nella zona sauna, bagno turco e grotta umida. Da provare di sera (in alcuni giorni apertura fino alle 23) con le luci soffuse, atmosfera unica. La zona piscine non è così curata come la zona relax, anche perchè è un pò più vecchia. Dovrebbe essere ristutturata e resa più accogliente e calda.

Entrando in questo hotel, la sensazione è che il tempo si sia fermato, architettura e arredi originali del "ventennio" sono ancora lì in bella mostra perfettamente conservati. Il personale molto disponibile e le terme bellissime completano il quadro di un ottima sistemazione che consiglio vivamente. Il parcheggio gratuito circa 100 metri lontano???

Les chambres étaient propres et spacieuses. Le personnel accueillant. 2 jacuzzis à notre disposition au solarium. Dommage pas possible d'utiliser la grande piscine car inutilisable durant notre séjour (dû à un incident technique).
