The Grand Hotel Tiberio is a modern hotel, staff were friendly and professional, the breakfast was a buffet which suited us, it was close to the city, we walked to the Vatican on the first day but there was a shuttle bus available. We had a pleasant stay during our time in Rome. We felt that the reviews that we read reflected the hotel. I would stay there again. Well, the carpet was worn or discoloured, we should have said something but it was a big clean modern room and difficult to fault it in any other way. We might have left it too late to say something and we were only staying there for two days. |

Cleanliness Situation, had to make 4 trips to reception on check out to get my key to work to be told that there was a faulty lock and they could not fix till the following day and they were full hmmm I wonder.Challenged that I was not put into a superiror room like booked but they were not prepared to show me the difference from their standard and superior |

breakfast, quiet location rather small bathroom, not so friendly staff. If you're not a walking-type of person, the hotel could be a bit far, but otherwise it's not a big problem. We stayed 3 days and did almost everything by walking. |

Friendly staff, nice rooms, fair breakfast, well working ac It is far from city centre, 30 min at least walking to St Peters. Buses are available but they use Italian timetable, no way to predict when they'll came. |
