Grand Hotel Vesuvio    

I've spend only one night there. But I can say the hotel is very good located, confort and have a friendly staff.

The internet wireless isn't, what I can't understand.

A very clean hotel

No atmosphere

We stayed in a classic double room with sea view! Absolutely amazing! Amazing view of the ocean and all the goings on! The nightlife was amazing in the restaurant area across from the hotel! If you are going to stop in Naples for a night then Grand Vesuivio is a must!!

Big spacious rooms, very peaceful

No open area to sit in when weather was nice

The location was great and in beautiful surroundings close to the waterfront. We requested a high floor with a view on a regular double room and they gave us a beautiful room with French doors leading out to a small balcony with great views of the marina on the 7th floor. The standard dbl room was large and they gave turn down service. Fantastic bathroom for European stds with large soaking tub. Beautiful restaurant view on roof top.

We left the guys at home and did a sister trip across Italy, which commenced in Naples. This classy five star hotel was a fabulous way to deal with jet lag! Arriving a bit earlier than expected, the hotel staff treated us to cappuccino and cake while they readied our beautiful corner room complete with a spectacular view of the Castel dell'Ovo. Immaculate service, a bathroom filled with lovely spa products and fresh crisp linen sheets donned the bed nightly. We had a superb meal at the Hotel the first night and purchased the breakfast option—which was a wonderful way to go, as the breakfast was lovely. Basically everything about the hotel was top notch including the concierge—for each of their suggestions wasw absolutely wonderful and we felt totally at ease there. Unfortunately due to our limited stay we did not have the opportunity to use the spa/pool or some of the other amenities, but we totally enjoyed everything we had a chance to use

Room was full of dust on the floor and with my 7 month old baby who's crawling, it was a big shame. Not to mention the staff explained to us that breakfast was downstairs from 7-10am but forgot to mention it wasn't included in the price. No problem, just let me know before I have to pay 30 euro per person for breakfast(especially in Naples where with 30 euro I can buy delicious breakfast for 15 people with 30 euro).

The sheer opulence and history of the hotel Breakfast out of this world The view from the hotel room was something I cannot describe it took your breathe away

Having to pay for wifi and city tax

Great stay in le Vesuvio. Warm welcoming, huge basic standard room, very clean and well decorated for very small price. The restaurant is amazing (ask for table on the terasse). Thanks ! we'll come back for sure

no water ,no tea kettle in the room . no Wi-Fi in the hotel

The staff were very attentive and helpful. We were warmly welcomed by the Valet attendant. Even though we got a fabulous deal through Booking.com we were not made to feel any less valued by the staff at the Hotel.

Wonderful classy hotel. Location in front of Castel dell'Ovo was unbeatable.Great room, spacious and good products. But the "pièce de résistance " were the linen sheets that were fresh everyday. Although we did not reserve a room with sea view, we had partial sea view that was really nice.WiFi although not free was reasonable at 30 eur for the complete stay of 1 week. Staff was really cooperative and helpful.

One of the most fantastic places we have ever had the pleasure to stay in. The staff very professional and very helpful. The food and service wonderful. The room and view amazing.

Great location with marvelous sea view. The staff is always very friendly and professional.

Some interior in the rooms looks a little used already - for a five star place it should be in perfect cognition. A hotel in this price range should not have extra charges extra for wifi Internet.

Locality

Your wifi charges are far too expensive and the service should be free. Your breakfast is poor for the price. It is not good value for money Room 435 At least 2 and maybe 3 of the 240 volt power points were un useable due to damage Noisy Taxis all night in the taxi rank

Hotel is a classic! Fine dining experience, outstanding breakfast buffet, perfect location, great help with driving/parking arrangements (needed as hotel is in the historic district). Room was most comfortable. A firm recommendation from us.
