Staff very helpful and polite No way is this a 4 star hotel. No laundry service. No bath. Breakfast very very poor. Restaurant closed. Very inaccessible and would have been impossible without a car |

Ideal location if you are flying in or out of Ciampino airport Need to have a car as there is no restaurant facilities in the hotel. Also not ideal if you are a light sleeper (like me!!) as you can hear every single thing in the neighbouring rooms. The windows are not well insulated and if it is windy the windows rattle and let in all the cold air!! |

The room was good although for the size oif the rook the bathroom was very small the space could have been used better staff at breakfast very pleasant much better than dest staff. Service of the staff, a payment was taken from my dedit card although I was told nothing would be taken, we paid in cash for our stay therfore I incurred a charge on my debit card, when this was refunded this should not have happened the desk staff were unhelpful and rude and very sarcastic I will not stay again and have recommended friends and work colleagues against this Hotel. I di complain at the time but response was negative. |

Availability, kindness of personel who provide advices at demand. A bit remote , so, rental car is nearly mandatory to visit Roma, go to airport and visit the area. Restaurant was closed and closest is at 3 km. |

The hotel was clean and the check in desk organised a taxi from the train station with a simple phonecall Only half the items on the menu and the drinks lists were available. Attending a wedding in a hotel less than 5 miles from the hotel they charged €35 for their Courtesy Bus to deliver a party of 5 2 Taxis cost €21 on the return journey |

The rooms were very well air-conditioned and very spacious with lots of closet room. The staff were incredibly friendly & professional. The bathroom and shower in my room were tiny, which is surprising when you consider the massive bedroom. The menu was very limited, there were no salads or healthy options on it, but the food was cheap so it balanced out. The taxi sevice provided by the hotel, was very expensive, there was a €25 call out fee before you went anywhere, the hotel's shuttle service was also very expensive. Other hotels in the area provided this service free of charge and used local taxi drivers who were less than half this price. |

I think the hotel staff was very helpful and assisted as much as possible to make our stay enjoyable. My purpose for being in Rome was to visit the city. The transportation to the city was difficult and expensive. I think a plus for this hotel would be to provide its guests with more economical transportion to and from Ciampino airport and the metro. |

The hotel was fabulous - attentive staff, relaxing pool, beautiful surrounding - Pope's summer residence, nice samll towns nearby - go to visit Casterlgandolfo, Nemi and its liquer di fragoline, evening wals around the lake Albano.. The best thing, you can have relaxing holidays up in Castelgandolfo and around the swiming pool of hotel, and then go donw to visit Rome in laste afternoon/evening when it is not so hot. Excellent stay, wonderful hotel! Though there was no restaurant for evening meals (we went always to east either to Rome, either going down to restaurants of lake Albano - 5 minutes), but we had great midday snacks served to us by hotel near the swiming pool. |

Good location, handy to trains into Rome but also nearby to beautiful lake Albano. Plenty of free parking available for those with cars. The staff were friendly and the breafast offered was good. We did not eat at the restaurant as there were many to chose from on the Lakeside which was a short drive away. Nothing major other than the approach off the road is a little dangerous as it is on a corner. |

Big family room with good beds. The pool looked nice. Breakfast was ok. Within easy reach of Ciampino airport. There were few other guests, although we stayed there mid July. It felt very empty. No dinner was served in the evening. I had read about this in other reviews, but had thought it wouldn't apply for high season. Toilet made a lot of noise and kept running. |

Very courteous and helpful staff. Short drive to the lake with a lot of restaurants near by. Did not feel rushed for check out. Hard to fine. Dangerous entrance to the hotel. Need to cross traffic to get into entrance. |

The lake views were lovely, although could have been better if they had cut a couple of trees back. The hotel was quiet and the beds were huge! A bit far away from the centre although the train was fairly close (not walking distance) and taxi's were very expensive. |

Staff and pool were excellent The taxi from Rome Campino cost €45 and when we arrived at 9 pm there was no where to eat - we ended up ordering in Pizza. The train to Rome is 1 km walkaway - however the hotel charged €25 to bring us there - no a very accessible hotel. |

An all round good experience, clean rooms with friendly helpful staff who try their best to make your stay hassle free If I have one complaint it would be that the website says dining room open from April 2009 we went in June 2009 and it was not open, its such a lovely dining room as well, its a shame that it is not taken advantage of and it certainly would have saved us a lot of language issues, as the hotel is not in a particularly tourist area, very few of the restraunts we went to had anyone available who... |

Very friendly and helpful personnel. Large, nicely furnished room. Reasonable pricing for minibar and bar drinks. The area is very nice. The air is clean. The view over lake Albano is very nice. The train station for going into Rome center is 2km away. You can walk there but the road is narrow with heavy traffic (trucks) and no sidewalk (!). I did that trip with my son only once. The hotel offers a shuttle service for 15€ to the train station. -- Ciampino is about 8km away. Taxis charge 35€ for the trip which I find expensive. -- I wasn't sure about the water quality in the pool. |
