The carpet was dirty, drapes filthy and not hung well. on the whole - disappointing

History personified! Beautiful old furnishings in a delightful old italian villa setting. Nothing too much trouble for desk staff. Nice pool but only upright chairs to sit on ..no beds.

The breakfast was very meagre, we came down thinking we must be last and there was little left but we actually were the second table down followed by about 8 more. By the last came there was no bread, no ham, we got the last croissant...must have been about 8 for the whole hotel and the waitress took 4 out for room service while we ate.

The place itself is breathtaking. It's right in the heart of the Castelli Romani in an extremely great position geographically. The swimming pool is nice and clean and the rooms are wonderful. The villa was built only 100 years ago but seems a bit Florida trashy (trying too hard to be authentically antique).

The service was incredibly lacking. While the people are polite, they never fulfill requests. Upon arrival, we asked for two chaises by the pool that the concierge promised again and again but after an hour we gave up and got them ourselves from behind the service area. The breakfast was ample but the tables were never cleared and since we arrived towards the end, none of the food was refreshed. There wasn't even any silverware! When the waitress was asked to bring some silverware, she brought it one at a time - piece by piece! We just laughed but it was extremely disappointing. There was rarely anyone at the front desk and at one point we just went behind the desk ourselves to get our key because after 20 minutes we were tired of waiting. The restrooms in the lobby were broken and never cleaned.

The hotel is set is relaxing surroundings yet walking distance to Frascati and an easy drive to other great restaurants (like Il Fico).

The location and breakfast. Bathroom was good and the silence was awesome.

Couldn't swim in the pool and there was no gym, also the restaurant was only open on Friday & Weekend. We also had to carry all luggage 3 floors - no elevator.

La camera in cui ho alloggiato era ampia e comoda, con vista giardino. Il parco che circonda la piscina è fantastico e veramente unico nel suo genere. Ho trascorso piacevoli momenti di relax nel giardino dell'hotel, peccato essere rimasti così poco!

Eccellente disponibilita' e cortesia di tutto il personale, ambiente molto confortevole, silenzioso e pulito , assolutamente da consigliare. Buono anche il ristorante e la piccola colazione.

Bellissima villa con grande giardino ,arredata in stile ,molto affascinante . Simpaticissimo e cordiale il personale .

Besonderes gutes Hotel mit dem Urlaubflair vom Anfang XX Jahrhundert, Zeitmaschineartig, Epochenmöbel und Dekoration inclusiv.Alles besonders gut erhalten und konsequent renoviert.Für weniger romantische gibt es Zimmern ohne Aspekt der Geschichte.Frühstuckraum ruhig und gepflegt, Auswahlsreiches Buffet und guuuter Caffé!

completamente immersa nel buio, il vialetto d'ingresso senza illuminazione. Parcheggio sulla strada. Colazione da padri missionari.

Un certain charme, d'une ancienne belle maison italienne. L'accueil sympa.

Un peu vieillot ! Meriterais un bon lifting. Petit dej pas terrible du tout.

Cet hôtel quoi qu'un peu mal situé offre toutefois un service de navette taxi pour se rendre à la gare de Frascatti qui nous ammene à Rome pour 2 euros.Pour ce qui est du reste tous étaient bien, Personnel courtois, petit déjeuner bon et c'est un endroit très tranquille.En terminant Fracatti est un endroit charmant. À visiter.

La scarsa manutenzione

wir haben als flitterwochen eine italienrundreise gemacht. dieses hotel war mit abstand das schlechteste!!! als ich das zimmer sah und merkte was alles nicht passt, habe ich weinen müssen, da rom eigentlich der höhepunkt unserer flitterwochen werden sollten, und nicht die gröste enttäuschung!!! wir haben eine zimmer im 2. stock (ohne aufzug) bekommen. es funktionierten weder die lampen, noch die klimaanlage! das zimmer war dreckig, und auf der tagesdecke des bettes war sogar ein brandloch! doch das highlight war der pool, das wasser war grün, da der pool total verdreckt und voller algen war! dieses hotel ist wirklich nicht zu empfehlen! wir haben uns nicht mal getraut dort zu frühstücken, da wir auf dem weg zum pool durch das "restaurant" gekommen sind, und uns das alles zu dreckig war. (wir haben das zimmer gewechselt und erst dann war es wenigstens einigermaßen zu ertragen)

Hotel raffinato ed elegante, ottima la posizione per visitare i Colli Albani.

L'area piscina è decisamente da riqualificare, troppo ombreggiata con lettini insufficienti e non degni di un quattro stelle. Miglliorabile il buffett della colazione. Qualche accessorio in più in camera dove i mobili d'antiquariato sono belli ma poco funzionali.

Non mi è piaciuto assolutamente niente.

La colazione era orrenda, cornetti da schifo, condita con mosche, formiche ect. Le stanze sono sporche, lo staff on è efficiente. A letto abbiamo trovato uno scarafagio enorme. Non lo consiglierei a nessuno.

De ligging was prettig, een beetje op een heuvel gelegen bij een klein drop en op loopafstand van het station Francati (2 km). Het is een mooi, verzorgt, klein hotel met fijne tuin en prima zwembad. De kamers zijn ruim genoeg en goed verzorgt, ik geloof dat het net gerenoveerd is. Mooi authentiek meubilair waardoor de sfeer erg romantisch is. Je kan er echt goed terecht als je rustig wil genieten van Italie en een dagje naar Rome wilt gaan.

Mijn verwachting van het ontbijt was hoger. Er was wel vers gesneden fruit maar het brood was oud en droog, de koffie slap en het beleg minimaal. Ook was het niet duidelijk wanneer er gelegenheid was voor de lunch en het diner, er waren nergens tijden of prijzen te vinden.
