Big suite, breakfast by the pool, helpful staff
Old Room accessorie e.g. bed, closet etc.
the staff at the hotel are very professional, friendly and helpful. we faced some issues (below) but the staff managed to more or less sort out. hotel location was good as only a 15 min walk to central florence
checked in at midnight after arriving to florence and was taken to what we assume to be the last room in the hotel which was absolutely dreadful. I'm not joking when i say i have stayed in 3* hotels in Riyadh Saudi Arabia of a higher standard. broken picture frame, screws sticking out of floor in bathroom, furniture all scratched, carpet looked about 20 years old and was cheap when it was new! now soiled and stained. i honestly didn't want to sleep in the room as it made me feel dirty! not what you want after a long flight in a supposedly 5* hotel. the staff managed to fix the room the next morning to a more appropriate room, still not 5* level but a good 4*. still....the beds in the room were like sleeping on a concrete block. the hotel took pre authorisation every night on all consumptions for that day. when checked out they then proceeded to charge me for these consumptions but did not remove the pre authorisation. this drives me absolutely furious! as I'm travelling frequently and if every hotel charged + blocked the full amount on my credit card, i will soon find myself with no credit. overall, i was so disappointed from my first night (which we were still charged the full price) that i would not recommend this hotel and will for sure not be returning.
staff friendliness, Concierge know how and help, location away from the crowds yet very close, comfortable room & terrace, cleanliness. excellent housekeeping.
limited choice of in-room food late night.
The pool area was very nice after a morning of sightseeing when it was hot. At night I sat outside and had a drink and relaxed. It was beautiful. The staff were very pleasant.
It was a bit of a walk to the center of town but not bad. About 15 minutes. At night there were a few Mosquitos.
Huge room, very upmarket feel and great service from all staff
We liked everything about the place and definitely recommend it to our friends. The location is just perfect - very cosy and quiet in the very heart of the city.
Location is good
No free parkings at the hotel, you must pay €40 per night to park your car. My advice don't rent a car just take the train to Florence, you can walk everywhere. Plus it's a ZTL zone so even if you have a car you won't be able to use it freely.
Staff were friendly and cooperative.
Wifi connection was slow. Car parking fee per night/day was on the higher side.
Rooms, facilities, concierge
Wifi location is good but not perfect parking was a bid expensive
Room was well appointed.
Spa was a joke. The towel of my room raveled in my hands it was so old and thin. Couldn't enjoy a glass of wine by the pool due to the dive bombing pigeons.
5min walk maximum to all main attractions. Our room was equipped with big balcony with a view on the garden. They have public transfer to any place within downtown any time if the car is available. Nice small wellness club with two types of sauna.
Breakfasts were too expensive for this choice of dishes (no porridges/no handmade yogurts/not a big choice of fresh juices). Bathroom was too small, didn't know where to put towels when they have been used. Public transfer is available only if booked before cause they don't have any schedule.
I liked everything. The stuff was really helpfull and sooo nice. When I left the room for 3 hours, my room was cleaned again, I was amazed. And the hotel is just impressive. I felt bad that I had to leave so soon
The internet must be solved. Was good till a point

We loved returning from a hot day in Florence and taking a swim in the pool. The location is wonderful--we walked to the Uffizi, the Accademia, the Boboli Gardens and Bardini Gardens. The concierge was very helpful with restaurant recommendations in Florence.
It would have been nice if breakfast was included.
The suite on the 5th floor which has a huge terrace and jacuzzi overlooking Florence. What a view! The room was spacious and comfortable. Great location of the hotel and the restaurant by the pool area is delicious and elegant atmosphere. The staff is very nice and accommodating also. Keep in mind this is more of a classic style hotel verse the very urban, new feel.
Good hotel, one of the better Florence Hotels, nice room, friendly & helpful staff, short walk into the centre of Florence, and we got a decent deal... Plus Martino the Concierge gave us fantastic restaurant and bar suggestions.
... but the breakfast and bar prices were crazy. 37 Euros each for breakfast is mad, as is 22 Euros in the bar for a G&T! So we didnt use either which was a pity. No wonder the bar was empty!
Beds! Really comfortable Location Setting Lunch and dinner
Breakfast seriously over priced for what it is, especially considering it was of very poor quality and I had two breakfast taken off the room. Their in room information is not clear in terms of where you can eat in the hotel and when: ie bar with bar snacks 24/8
Nice garden, very friendly and efficient staff
Some rooms have a blind view, and are yet 250 Euros/night... Breakfast is neither good or cheap. A nicer option is the pasticceria in front of the hotel, 50m to the left.
Very nice staffs, only about 10 - 15 mins walk to centre. Rooms are nice.

Service, restaurant, parking
The staff was very nice and helpful, always at hand. The rooms, restaurant, and especially the pool and garden were wonderful. This was our second stay, and we like it more than the first one.
Wifi was not stable in every place of the hotel.
The door boy was good. But the frontdesk petson was always inside room and spoke very little regarding the questions. Efficient but not friendly.
Third time there and I Will recommand the place. Very quiet and agréable place.
Quiet location and a good restaurant. Easy access by car. Courtesy bus into the centre was very useful. We would definitely stay again.
Our room decoration was very sombre and cold with bad lighting. We found out when checking out that some of the rooms have traditional decor which should be better.
