Excellent service

Beatiful hotel, excellent staff, great location, very romantic and first class hotel.

The breakfast cost. Extremely high. There is an exquisite "pasticceria" very close by where you can have an excellent italian (continental) breakfast with delicious pastries at have a price!

Service in the breakfast-room was very unkindly! Simone took cappuccino from my husband, when my husband send sms!!! In garage (price for one day 50€) service used our car! They went by our car 100km!!! Breakfast very poor and expensive.

The location was great. The size of the room was good, very clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff were also very friendly and helpful especially with helping to book tours etc. The shuttle bus which ran between the hotel and the city's main attractions, which ran for a couple of hours in the morning and late afternoon was also useful.

The tv in the room was very small and together with cnn, only had one one English channel. Room service was also very disappointing. The pasta was almost inedible as it was so salty and the pizza was also very average. The cost for the room service menu was also ridiculously high especially considering the quality of the meals. There was also not a kettle in the room.

Check-in took a long time, there were no staff behind the desk for over 15 minutes.

Excellent comfortable rooms overlooking pool . Good breakfast buffet. Shuttle bus availble to anywhere in city. Excellent very helpful concierge.

Public areas empty and soul less in the evening

The location to walking in to the center of Florence and to historical places is very good, although it takes about 15 - 20 min. The advice Massimo the conceirge gave us about a restaurant for our daughters 21st birthday was wonderful.

The hotel is classed as 5* but this was most probably about 20 yrs ago. The decor is tired and the facilities are in need of attention. Especially the toilet facilities around the pool. When we phoned the hotel to ask about picking us up from the train station by car, the hotel just advised us it would be a certain cost. We accepted the offer but then realised when we arrived in Florence, the hotel was in fact just 5 min from the train station by taxi which would have cost us 15 Euros. The hotel charged us 65 Euros - they could have told us this instead of ripping us off. Also the cost of food in the hotel was extortionate. 70 Euros for a sandwich and a couple of drinks around the pool, and the food itself was very mediocre. The cost of a buffet breakfast, 26 Euros for one person is also extortionate, when you could go to a really nice Trattoria around the corner where could by breakfast for four people for 25 Euros. Also we organised for a car to take us to restaurant we booked for our daughters 21st. They charged us 230 Euros for this service, they did not advise us of how much it would cost, but just proceeded to rip us off again.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and recommended a fantastic fish restaurant (Il Cestello). The pool and surrounding area were very relaxing.

I would suggest requesting a double bed as we had two twins put together.

The WiFi only worked one day out of 6 so that was very inconvenient. In the mornings starting around 7 there was a lot of continuos door slamming noise. We couldn't figure out why we could hear so many since we occupied 2 of the 6 rooms in our hallway.

The hotel staff is exceptionally warm. The rooms are quiet and have good facilities. Olde world charm personified. The garden and pool area is superb.

The fact that no tea and coffe making facilities are available in the room- something that comes standard in all hotels in the Far and Middle East, Africa and the Americas.This however appears to be the norm for European hotels.

Restaurant was very poor. Very few diners and I can see why, over attentive staff rushed us through our meal. Main course was especially bad, veal that was extremely dried out with a spicy stuffing that was not spicy!! We used other restaurants in the area which were a lot better and less expensive.

Отель красивый, номера просторные и удобные.

Мы продлили пребывание в отеле на половину суток, но Нас не предупредили, что время истекает в 18 часов. Позвонили только в 20 часов и сказали, что теперь мы должны заплатить за полные сутки. Соотношение цена-качество за завтрак неприемлемо!

Funcionários atenciosos e muito eficazes.

Um hotel onde o custo benefício é muito ruim. Com o preço que é cobrado é um absurdo não ter wi-fi incluido e nem estacionamento. O preço tanto do wi-fi quanto do estacionamento é caríssimo! (Estacionamento 40,00 Euros por dia !!!) Não havia água quente no chuveiro, acho que para um hotel deste nivel isto é inaceitável. O pior foi quando fomos pagar a conta que o café da manhã também não estava incluido no preço e nunca fomos avisados deste detalhes. Este hotel é para pessoas que tanto para os mais favorecidos economicamente quanto paras os menos, não dão o mínimo valor pro dinheiro.

Отель хороший, категория "не дорогие пять звезд". Хотелось бы больше флорентийского интерьера. Персонал отзывчивый, до центра минут 15 пешком, отель предоставляет авто до центра (бесплатно).

Hotel confortevo ed elegante con ottima posizione

Trotzdem seit unserem letzten Aufenthalt vor 2 Jahren die Crew nun gesamt neu war, hat diese dieselbe Freundlichkeit, Hilfsbereitschaft, Zuvorkommenmheit und Höflichkeit wie gewohnt. Erfüllung des Wunsches nach Zimmerlage.
