Staff service. No barman at bar on any occasion . Breakfast hot food was cold , notwarm , cold. At breakfast find your own cups set your own table. Water for making tea warm only . No service for drinks on terrace. Staff at pool didn't know how to get a towel. Whole hotel in a rundown state. location very dissapointing .Possibly one of worst hotels I've stayed at in over 30 years of travelling

The hotel building is grand. The entrance and the foyer alone makes a stay worthwhile. Rooms were good although the friends we travelled with had a smaller room. Breakfast area was grand and the breakfast eas very good.

Beautiful hotel very spacious. Only downside it is a little bit out of the main part of town. About a 40 minute walk to Ortigia, Great if you have a car, plenty of parkng space.

We mostly liked the beauty of the hotel, the quiet, the friendly helpful staff

but the room was dusty and the shower not doing well... But the linen and the towels were VERY clean and changed every day.

A very stylish-looking hotel in a novel location, especially convenient for the car-bound traveller. Food good and service efficient, though rather remote and lacking in warmth.

Nice pool. Very grand dinning room for breakfast. Nice reception area. Good bedroom and bathroom. Large car park. No problems finding a space.

The hotel is a longish walk in the heat to town Ortegia. If you walk by going left you go through some really grotty parts of town.

Elegant grand hotel, uniquely built on the Siracusan latomies. Go for it if you want an hotel with more character than your standard generic modern hotel chain offering.

Very grand but in need of some updating to external aspects. Staff were fantastic.

One of the finest pools in Italy, a much better location than guide books say and much more charming decor than some have alleged. The dingin room is spectacular. The staff are not five star trained or inclined, but then neither are the prices. This was a wonderful close to water, great swimming and good city visiting adventure.

Das schlechteste Hotel seit Jahren ! Durchgangshotel für busreisende Pauschaltouristen, Zimmer winzig und schmutzig,Garten ungepflegt. Preise für 2 Nächte a €134 und 3. Nacht sollte € 450 kosten in der Nebensaison. Hotel hat schlechte Lage , höchstens 2*-niveau

E' sempre un hotel di classe, in una bella villa ottocentesca, una volta residenza dei Savoia.

Bellissima atmosfera liberty ma con i confort moderni

Suggestiva la Villa sulle Latomie e immersa nel verde, con un bellissimo atrio e una bella piscina; ottima prima colazione

Per visitare il centro è necessaria la macchina, anche se la distanza non è molta

Le bâtiment, l'histoire de l'hôtel, ce qu'il dégage. La Villa Politi est magnifique, d'un charme désuet, si... Dolce Vita! L'accueil et la gentillesse du personnel. La cuisine raffinée du restaurant.

Dommage que de si vilains immeubles aient été construits aux alentours !

Cet hôtel est très bien situé, au calme bien qu'en pleine ville, grâce au fait qu'il borde les latomies devenues un jardin boisé, ce qui lui confère un grand atout. C'est un hôtel de luxe du XIX qui a gardé un peu de cette splendeur.

Le mobilier de la chambre est un peu fatigué.
