Excellent location in the heart of Bellagio and close to the ferry. A bit stuffy and overpriced although the room was excellent.

The: * accomodation, * service, (every staff member first class), * restaurant, * ambience, * the amazing views of Lake Como.

Nothing.

Food, services and views in the restaurant are all great. The concierge is very helpful and friendly.

Not enough outdoor sitting for taking in the great views.

Stylish 5 stars hotel for special occasion. Lot of souvenirs from this fantastic hotel, but also thanks to Bellagio and of course the lake. Not a snotty atmosphere, very welcoming, smily staff and clients. The room are classy, clean, stylish and modern (double glazed windows, secured door...). Excellent breakfast in the 'salon royal'.

We loved everything about the Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni! We made our reservation based on a recommendation from a well-travelled, trusted friend, and we were not disappointed. The entire facility is pristine, despite it's age. The service was second to none, from the bellman to the concierge to the housekeeping staff and the waiters in the restaurants and dining room. Our room overlooked the garden and was right next to the church. It was lovely in every sense of the word. The windows opened to a small balcony.It was nice to have fresh air in the room. Bathroom was clean and modern, but designed to fit the style of the hotel. Towels and linens were luxurious and bath amenities were as well. The buffet breakfast was almost over wheeling. Table settings were elegant - as was the food presentation. Service was perfect. The location is ideal. Just steps from the town and shops - and a minute or two walk to the ferry, which takes you to all the lakeside towns. We wish we could have stayed longer - and we will definitely be back again.

I am hard pressed to find anything I didn't like - except that it rained most of the time we were there...obviously no fault of anyone at the Hotel. We enjoyed the experience even with the rain.

The after dinner music in the beautiful salon was worth the trip, a great setting for a novel or a movie. Bellagio is a little jewell. A big splurge grand old hotel.

Traveller's might note that the turn to get on the tiny one-way road that takes you past the Bellagio pedestrian zone to the hotel is a little hard to find. There is a parking lot next to the car ferry, with a small sign where the road goes through the wall. If you leave the parking lot area you won't find this road.

Superbly located on water's edge with magnificent outlook over the lake to the western shore. We were upgraded to a junior suite, which was very spacious (two rooms plus excellent bathroom) with lake view. Staff were pleasant and helpfull with no trace of pretension or snobbishness. Dinner in Mistral restaurant, while expensive, was superb and good value. As a bit of a splurge, Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni really delivered and is on our bucket-list for a return visit!

Outstanding hotel in a wonderful location. Our balcony room was amazing and the hotel was out of this world. The music in the sitting room each evening was fantasic and the staff were very attentive and helpful.

I did'nt like the fact that housekeeping would not lend me an iron. I had just left the Park Hyatt and I had no problem with the request. They delivered iron & board in 5 mins. So, for the length of my stay, I did not eat or drink at your establishment. I went elsewhere.

The position in the town is excellent. The rooms large clean and comfortable

The staff are not very friendly some very superior. The pool staff are lazy . The service is def not 5 star. Doubt if this hotel will still be open in next decade as living on past reputation and in the last century not in a pleasant way.

This is a luxury hotel and certainly worth the price. It was very elegant with excellent friendly service. The restaurant was very good and had a lovely view of the lake. Breakfast was also in a gorgeous room and was very good. We had some rain during our stay, but with the indoor pool and location by the lake but also in the town, that was no problem. We used the lovely indoor pool. Our room overlooked the park, not the lake and that was fine. The turn down service and cleaning of the bathroom while we were at dinner was wonderful and we never were aware of staff waiting to get into our room at any time, but all the service was gracious and professional. Nice big bathroom and room. I hope to go back one day.

It needs to provide 5 star luxuries in ALL sectors of one's stay e.g. Duvets not sheets and blankets, luxury soaps and towels, free Internet.

Everything! The food, service, ambience were excellent! The hotel is expensive but it was the best hotel that I have ever stayed at and so I don't think that it was overpriced.

The water pressure in the shower was not the greatest, we were charged 7 euros for WiFi during our stay and perhaps the hotel should think of its own car service to pick up and drop off guests from the airport in Milan. The one that they suggested was excellent but they had to be paid seperately from the hotel, otherwise I thought that everythingelse was superb.

Location was great so close t o the village. We own travel and leisure group and came to lake como to inspect various hotels and restaurants so we can advise our clients who buy or sell timeshare thru us where best to go. We were not disappointed with villa serbelloni . The food in the evening restaurant was superb and it is divine just to look out thru the very clever glass they have. There was lovely music and you could dance to it We had an executive suite, a free upgrade from a luxury lake view room because they felt the bedroom available was not very well Positioned and my husband has a disability. A very kind thought. Lovely for children and teenagers as well as you can jump into the lake from the platform . The gardens are also lovely Wuld we come again? Definitely yes and it is highly recommend to all,couples old and young , families even young children. Breakfast is in the ballroom, a beautiful room of the villa. Not a fantastic breakfast I may say. They certainly could improve on this. Dr mills-Farinas

Breakfast not sophisticated. Not enough variety for the price of a lake view accommodation of say 600 plus euros a night Swimming pool not avail after8 pm or before 8 am

We had read some reports of the hotel which suggested that the staff were unfriendly and off-hand-nothing could be further from the truth! All of the staff were friendly,efficient and helpful.Hotel is in abeautiful area-we think we live in a wonderful area in the Scottish Highlands but cannot compare with the splendour of Lake Como-certainly helped by four days of perfect weather. Food was splendid and again restaurant staff were excellent.

Bearing in mind that one of our party is a hotel inspector for a large British organisation(unknown to the hotel),the only fault we could find was a lack of fresh orange juice at breakfast!

Old world charm and ambience but with a modern outlook. Very comfortable and gracious. Makes a trip to Lake Como a very memorable one.

The rate difference between single and double occupancy (we had two rooms) was quite stark.

the magnificent location of the hotel makes you feel like in heaven, the service is extraordinary, even though it is a bit expensive i think its worth it
