The Mistral Restaurant was created to give the hotel a more informal restaurant. Since it was opened it has also become a research laboratory for Ettore Bocchia who here achieved his first Michelin star.
The Mistral offers the chance to eat out beside the pool or in a refined indoor dining room, decorated with the panelling of the great steamers and with large windows out onto the outside world.
The menu is inspired by Italian gourmet cuisine and offers dishes with newly reinterpreted traditional ingredients, bringing them together in light, creative recipes
Its temperate climate has for many years favoured vacations and working meetings even during the low season.
In the northern regions, just south of the Alps, Italy offers a wonderful series of lakes which have always attracted tourists and visitors in search of suggestive panoramas, artistic treasures, and the riches of nature.
Among the larger lakes, the richest in terms of charm and culture is Lake Como. Its unmistakable upturned Y shape was carved out by a glacier that was forced to split into two by the mountain that stood in its path. Lake Como offers the visitor the longest and most indented coastline of all the Italian lakes (170 km) as well as some of the most delightful natural and architectural gems of the entire peninsula.

The food served in both restaurants was wonderful. We really enjoyed the music provided each evening and dancing after dinner. It is a very relaxing hotel with great service. The setting is spectacular!! |

Staff very eager to please Sadly our well behaved dog was restricted to room and non-public areas. He was welcome in the village terrace bars and surely could have been also welcome in the hotel casual terrace bar. We can find hotels more accepting of dogs. Hence my non-recommendation below. |

The location was perfect, and the building itself is impressive ( especially the breakfast room ) Nothing in particular, maybe they jacket required policy at dinner is a little too old fashioned ( that's why we did not have dinner at the hotel even if we would have liked to, after all we were on vacation ). And when the hotel is not fully booked (as it was when we checked in ) why not upgrade to a better view room ? It doesn't cost anything and it is good pr...... |

We have stayed at the Villa Serbelloni three times and have enjoyed the elegance, romantic ambiance and comfortable rooms. The food was excellent in both dining rooms and the service excellent. The concierge gave us good information. We were also given an upgrade....great. there is nothing we did not enjoy about the hotel. |

Mistral restaurant, quality of room, location and view; pool and lake swimming; access to ferries to wide range of destinations. The sommelier at Mistral was outstanding, as was all the service there. Our room (park view) was superb, spacious, elegant and had a balcony. The outdoor cafe - under the pergola - had much poorer service and value than any other part of the hotel and was disappointing. |

We had a delightful stay at this beautiful hotel. The waterfront location is perfect -- near shopping, restaurants and other beautiful villas. Yet, it also affords a perfectly private and uninterrupted stay if desired. It is the best of both worlds. The casual restaurant's dinner menu and service were not as good as many of the local offerings. |

The hotel was just beautiful, decorating like a grand villa that is privately owned. The staff was right on top of things and ready to serve all of the time. Very polite staff! It could not have been more perfect in all aspects. |
