Grand Visconti Palace  

When we arrived, we were told we had a free upgrade. This place really looks and feels like a palace. Huge beds! Very close to the subway going directly to the center (Duomo). The parking in the building is very convenient.

When we went to the reception for check-out, they had already charged the credit card we had given when we arrived. That was unfortunate as we were two friends and wanted to share the bill (and pay cash), but we had no choice. They should ask before assuming. However, that's minor, and we will go back!

It works

If one is paying circa 200 euro per night then it is not right to charge a guest an extra 9 euro for a wifi connection per telephone per 24 hour and not have have the signal with proper room coverage.

The hotel is well-maintained in its beauty, luxury but still cosy, not too much elegant. The staff are welltrained, speak good English and helpful.

I stayed in Deluxe Room, room decoration & facities are very nice, except taking a shower and the water spray drop a lot on the floor as no protection either wall glass or plastic shower.

charging 2.50 euro for a small pot of milk for tea.... charged 5 euros for small chocolate bar... 6.50 euro for small bottle of beer..... advice don't use mini bar

Clean room and very good room equipment.teaport and tea/coffe in the room.very nice

The bar staff were excellent as was the concierge and the doormen. The pool, steam and sauna were good. The concierge put us in touch with an excellent local restaurant and suggested we book the hotel car for the return trip to the airport which was a masterstroke as all taxis were on strike!!

Reception staff were surly and dismissive and the chamber maids were poorly managed. Location is not good unless you want a very long walk into central Milan..to the Duomo for example. The restaurant was mediocre and over priced, It was a shame that you had to pay for spa facilities when they are in the hotel.

the hotel is wonderful, just ashame one has to pay to enter the spa and wellness area??

WIFI should be free in the rooms as well.

Perfect hotel to visit Milaan. 1 minute walk to the nearest metrostation from where you can reach the rest of Milaan. Nice staff and great rooms.

The service, location, décoration.

The internet service is very coplicated and became a problem when you are traveling for business unfortunately

Staff really customer oriented, at each level. Comfortable sleeping furniture.

WiFi connection to be paid, quite unpleasant as expected at this price/quality level.

Staff were very helpful

Even as guests we had to pay 15 euros per couple to use the pool and spa as it is a separate business to the hotel.

The hotel itself was excellent. The staff were very helpful and the rooms of a good standard. The reception and staff relations people were particularly good.

We used the restaurant, the menu was overcomplicated and the food not very good and I did not consider it to be value for money especially after having eaten in the local restaurants..
