helpfull reception staff nice breakfast

room needs some maintenance

Great central location for walking--0.7km to Ortygia and 1.5km to Greek/Roman ruins and museum. Allow several days to do this incredible city justice--most interesting place south of Rome. This is about as close as you can get to Ortygia and not get into difficult parking and driving. Walking is advised--all pretty flat.

Breakfast buffet very limited. From a 4star hotel I would expect a better choice of items.

The hotel appears well managed with a particular emphasis on staff's friendly and professional attitude towards guests. It's a pleasure do be dealing with the management as well and the language capabilities of the receptionists (plus their skills and local knowledge) is second to none. On Easter Monday when I had missed the time change the receptionists impressed my wife and self with their pleasant handling of our problem and made sure we made it to public transport on time. We will be back.

Excellent location to explore the town and enjoy the restaurants. No dedicated parking but plenty of free on street parking. Staff friendly and helpful.

Give the hotel par a skip and head onto the island for some drinks.

My room was spacious. Thought I had to go out for breakfast, but they had a lovely breakfast room and breakfast, including an egg. Gracious and helpful hostess. Appreciated elevator. Large, friendly lobby. Friendly staff. Touring car and driver excellent.

Ordered dinnner so I would not have to go out, but they were rennovating and could not find substitute restaurant.

I liked the room with a balcony.

I had difficulty finding the hotel. It's not close either train station or Ortygia island.

Friendly and helpful staff. Room was large, modern, clean and well equipped. Excellent breakfast buffet. Good location, 5 min walk from Ortegia. Parking close by.

A bit noisy, the room gave on the street. The selection of international channels on tv very limited. Internet connection fluctuated and cut at times.

A well placed hotel close to the island bridge. The staff were exceptionally attentive and helpful. Love the hotel design features.

The rooms were quite large, quiet, and modern. The bathtub looked quite nice, however we couldn't fill it full because we ran out of hotwater. The location was excellent. It was between the island and the downtown - which made the tourist attractions very accessible.

We couldn't use the bathtub because it ran out of hot water. The paint on the walls are peeling. There was not fan in the bathroom so everything got soaking wet when we showered. The staff was nice, but not very helpful. They were unable to offer us suggestions for things to do around the city or where to eat. The Wifi did not work.

Parking was difficult and in spite of the hotel's description that there was parking, the staff said to park on the street. In order to park legally, we had to park at least a 1/2 mile from the hotel.

The amplasament of the hotel and the room.

The dinner was horrible for this four star hotel; you can't choice the food. In the bathroom, the soap and the shower gel smell bad.

stuff was very good. I could use Hotels personal computer. It was festival and so close to the festival street.

Perfect in every way from arrival (very helpful and courteous reception) to departure. Superb room, very comfortable and amazing value for money. Similarly, the breakfast buffet, included in the room rate, was exceptionally good. By far, the best of all the places we stayed in Sicily and one of the best anywhere. Deserves 5 stars!

Very reasonable price for a stay in November. Good sized room with good bathroom and an excellent breakfast compared with many Italian/Sicilian hotels.
