With a large rooftop terrace overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, Domus Mariae Albergo is right on Siracusa's seafront.
Score from 357 reviews Wonderful
La Via della Giudecca is a design B&B that takes its name from the Jewish quarter of Siracusa in which it stands. It is in the main square, Piazza San Filippo, and offers modern rooms with LCD TVs.
Score from 860 reviews Exceptional
Located in Siracusa, Hotel le Muse has a relaxing sun terrace. It offers traditionally furnished accommodation with a flat-screen TV.
Score from 249 reviews Very good
Domus Mariae has a fantastic location on the island of Ortigia, in the heart of Syracuse. The rooftop terrace offers a beautiful sea view. There is a luxury spa center on site.

Location Parking Staff Breakfast
Wifi was weak on the second floor
Everything, the bathrooms were great, as is the location. Very good breakfast. they called a local garage to pick up and park the cars for 10 eur / nite, which worked out very well for us.
Parking is street parking.
The room was well-equipped and quite spacy, there was a third bed which doubled as a sofa. There was a tiny rooftop balcony with a view over the neighbouring buildings - great for star-gazing. The hotel was clean and stylish. It was within a walking distance of Ortygia (10-15 min).
There is no parking space that belongs to this hotel. While it may be easy on most days to find a free place on the nearby streets, we had a nightmare of an experience to do so on a Sunday evening when apparently there was a busy social event in Syracuse. It took us almost half an hour before we managed to park more than 400 m away from the hotel (and then we had to carry our luggage). The reception staff was not quite helpful in this respect. In addition, the hotel receptionist provided us with a good-for-nothing photocopied map of Syracuse, with no street names on it except the major roads (said it was very difficult at that point in time to get a decent map!) and directed us to a restaurant in the Old Town which turned out to be of dubious quality.
Location - 5 minutes and on Ortigia, 8 in other direction to bus/trains. Everything there is old, including hotel. But well mantained, clean; don't expect the Ritz, but nice, particularly for area/price. Good breakfast, helpful staff.
Very helpful staff. Great location (5 min walk to old town of Ortigia, easy parking in late October). Very charming hotel (high ceilings, palace converted into hotel), decorated with excellent taste. Nice room and bathroom, good size, very clean. Very good breakfast with some traditional food (ricotta, mozzarella, etc), very helpful staff.
Spacious room with high ceiling. It was the best hotel that we stayed in Sicilia
Location of the hotel. Near to the old city and you can also walk to the Roman ruins.
Hotel sandwiched in between two busy in and out of town roads. They are noisy and fast running. Get a room not overlooking the streets if possible. Breakfast was very ordinary and could have been so much better.
The staff were SO helpful; the breakfast was good and the overall standard of the hotel was excellent.
Just a few blocks from Ortigia, a 5 minutes walk, Grande Albergo Alfeo is very well located. All the staff is very kind, friendly and helpful. The old and traditional building is in perfect conditions, nicely refurbished to suit modern hotel needs, without losing it's traditional charm.
There's no parking for cars, but it is a minor problem.
Excellent Rooms, very clean. Breakfast was excellent
Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Room large with comfortable king bed, bath spotless. Breakfast room with extensive selections...and best of all, terrific coffee. We had dinner at nearby Ortygia (walking distance). Beautiful city and lovely hotel. Would highly recommend. Parking on street was not much of a problem.
space, comfort, luxury, wifi perfect
traffic noise, but no biggy - double-glazing and quiet aircon
Everything. As in my ratings, the facilities, cleanliness, comfort, value for money and location are terrific and the staff are superb. Its position is in a small road between the Corsa Umberto and Via Malta in Siracusa but so close to Ortygia, one can get the best of both worlds. We highly recommend this hotel. And there are some great restaurants nearby in Via Cairoli.
Nothing... except the coffee from the coffee urn at breakfast. It was dull and bitter and we only realised on the last morning (of 4) that you can ask one of the waiters to bring you a fresh capuccino.
Spacious, clean, confortable
No windows in the bedroom, just an exit to the roof to enter some light& fresh air
Very clean, professional and hassle-free. Very close to the old town.
The area is not particularly beautiful, and the hotel lacked the personal touch of the B&Bs we'd been staying in elsewhere on the trip.
reception staff helpful
Very good location just outside the island, free public parking on the street, nice breakfast.
Value for money, spacious room.
Value for money, spacious room, good location.
All the comfort you would expect from a 4 star hotel at a very reasonable price. Close to the Ortegia and the train and bus station.
A beautiful corner room with balconies, a jacuzy. The location, three blocks from the old town and walking streets makes it hard to beat. We definitely recommend it
The internet connection fails at times, but it happens in most of Sicily...
Staff were helpful. Location was excellent for sightseeing in Siracusa---could walk to Ortygia or take tourist buses to other sights.
Difficulty parking our hired car---had to search for a space on busy streets.
-the hotel is a beatiful building with original features -the rooms are very modern and clean -very comfortable beds -the staff at the reception has been incredibly helpful with indications on what to do, beaches etc.. -it's 5 minutes walk from ortigia
-the guy in the breakfast room was a bit clueless....
