Excellent Rooms, very clean. Breakfast was excellent
Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Room large with comfortable king bed, bath spotless. Breakfast room with extensive selections...and best of all, terrific coffee. We had dinner at nearby Ortygia (walking distance). Beautiful city and lovely hotel. Would highly recommend. Parking on street was not much of a problem.
space, comfort, luxury, wifi perfect
traffic noise, but no biggy - double-glazing and quiet aircon
Spacious, clean, confortable
No windows in the bedroom, just an exit to the roof to enter some light& fresh air
Very clean, professional and hassle-free. Very close to the old town.
The area is not particularly beautiful, and the hotel lacked the personal touch of the B&Bs we'd been staying in elsewhere on the trip.
reception staff helpful
Very good location just outside the island, free public parking on the street, nice breakfast.
Value for money, spacious room.
Value for money, spacious room, good location.
All the comfort you would expect from a 4 star hotel at a very reasonable price. Close to the Ortegia and the train and bus station.
A beautiful corner room with balconies, a jacuzy. The location, three blocks from the old town and walking streets makes it hard to beat. We definitely recommend it
The internet connection fails at times, but it happens in most of Sicily...
Staff were helpful. Location was excellent for sightseeing in Siracusa---could walk to Ortygia or take tourist buses to other sights.
Difficulty parking our hired car---had to search for a space on busy streets.
-the hotel is a beatiful building with original features -the rooms are very modern and clean -very comfortable beds -the staff at the reception has been incredibly helpful with indications on what to do, beaches etc.. -it's 5 minutes walk from ortigia
-the guy in the breakfast room was a bit clueless....
Great position for all sightseeing. Very pleasant hotel. Good breakfast. Very helpful and friendly staff. Try and get a first floor room.
Not much. It was fine.
Good location, spacious rooms, brekkie, always parking space
No gym, missing showerscreen
Friendly, clean, Location really good, great breakfast
A great place to end our holiday in Sicily. Perfect location, just a 5 min. walk to Ortygia. Room was very comfortable and the breakfast was just overwhelming.
Big mosquito problem in our room - we had to ask for a plug in - other hotels had provided these as standard. There were bits of previously squashed mosquitoes on the walls. We got bitten each night anyway. Our 3rd floor room had a door which faced onto a metal staircase which in turn led to a small platform that if you stood at the top you could see the sea. There was no view from the room - even of sky - it was like sleeping in a cell. No lampshades on any light made it very stark. The aircon was insufficient and I found the room very stifling. No real glasses in the bathroom or bedroom - just horrid plastic tumblers. Breakfast - don't even get me started on this - we sat in the unairconditioned dining room - more of the horrid plastic tumblers - no orange juice only sickly sweet pineapple on offer - my husband went and got two coffees for us - no cappuccino or proper fresh coffee on offer - when I went to sip the coffee it had a strange unpleasant smell - possibly cleaning fluid not properly flushed out. No croissants or other pasticceria even though the hotel is yards away from an excellent one - so we did the only thing possible - abandoned the breakfast for which we had already paid - and went across the road for a decent coffee and croissant. Not a hotel I will be returning to anytime soon.
Mosquitos in the room
The hotel is perfectly located on the edge of Ortygia and at the same time accessible to the bus & train services. The breakfast is fantastic. The rooms are modern, clean and bright. The staff are attentive and friendly. Three good nights sleep.
There wasn't a safe in the room as advertised but we were moved to a room with one so that's hard to complain about. Basic fixtures like towel hangers need fitting better.
The room was the last one, almost no windows...
Staff were accommodating .. We moved to a room with a balcony - a bit noisier but the size of the room worth it! Great breakfast.
Sometimes bar was not open.. Just saying!
Hotel was in an ideal position for the tourist part of town, short walk to the Ortigia. Hotel was excellent, very good room plenty of space and jacuzzi bath.Friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was also very good with plenty of choice. Would recommend this hotel to friends.
Couldn't find anything to dislike.
