very clean, comfortable room, good breakfast and service overall
close to main train station, very dirty area. convenient though if you travel by train and not spend your time in there.
the staff was awesome service was great
no air conditioning if you leave the windows open, the street is very noisy heavy drapery old hotel
staff pretty kind, helpfull. room is reasonable clean, not small, well euipment
its very close to naples location . ı was single and was returning to the hotel around 23 and felt unconfortable. ıts not suitable place particulary single girls.
A/C did not work. Sleepless night. WiFi also did not work.
Nice, cosy hotel close to train station. Older room but bed comfortable and bathroom clean. Quiet which was good and restaurant at hotel was handy.
Had trouble getting on to wi-fi...lots of users so limited access
convenience as it is around the corner of the train station.
the area may be risky if you went out at night. It is really dirty and be careful, look when you walk.
Staff were helpful, and we were very grateful that the restaurant was open - so we didn't have to venture out of the hotel in the evening
Location - very run down. One of the few places I've been in the world that I felt unsafe in. . . .oh and the hotel has definitely seen better days
Location is great The room was clean and big Very suitable for a short stay
WIFI signal is weak in some rooms. In the room where I stayed there was only occasional availibility.
Close to Station, coming from Rome and going to Pompeii. We had a very nice triple room. Waiting staff were great. Clean, tidy and reasonable evening meals. Excellent value for money.
Reception staff could of been little friendlier.
Location, very close to train station. Helpful and polite staffs Room, simple but comfortable
Easy to get to the train station and airport bus.
Excellent value for money. Staff very helpful and approachable. Very well located for inwards and onwards travel and for getting around the city.
Breakfast was no better than average but only what is reasonable to expect for the price of the hotel
The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was reasonable. The room was clean and comfortable.
The wifi disconnected many times and we had to re-type the password. The surrounding area is a typical railway station area with many strange people.
Location was good
Area was a bit intimidating.
The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Good value for money. The food in restaurant was good, fairly priced.
The area that this Hotel is situated.
Good location and cheap
This is a budget hotel. You get what you pay for...
GRETA LOCATION, LOVLEY FRNDLY STAFF, VERY NICE BREAKFAST, VERY NICELY DECORED HOTEL....SO MUCH NEAR TO NAPLES RLY STAN,,JUST 3 MINS WALK
Close to the train station
The dirt and unfinished paint on the walls. The dirty floor. No fridge.
Central location very close to the station, friendly, helpful staff, comfortable, clean room, free Wi-Fi, value for money, good breakfast. if you need to be close to the station, which, let's face it, you will given that you're likely to want to visit Pompeii, Amalfi, etc then this is a great place but if you're looking for a romantic area to wander around in the evening then avoid it like the plague in fact avoid Naples period!
See comments about the area but there are few areas of Naples that you would choose to stay - go to Paris
We were welcomed and helped by friendly efficient staff with whom I enjoyed speaking Italian. It was an excellent hotel in every way and provided a good varied breakfast which was included in the very good price. They also had a good restaurant for some evening meals. The hotel is just across the street at the side of the modern and spacious train station and near the metro and buses. There are great fruit stalls and variety of small shops nearby for all your needs so excellent for getting food for the short train journeys to Herculaneum, Pompeii and Sorrento where you can get buses to Positano etc. Naples is a beautiful friendly cultural city so you need to stay in the Europa Grand Hotel for a few days to also enjoy the interesting Historical centre, the local bus along the bay and the great galleries, Capo di Monti, churches and the archaeological museum. Don't be afraid to ask anyone for help and read well before you go so you don't miss the many treasures.
Air conditioned, will set up transfers for you.
The room was absolutely disgusting! The bathroom does not have a window so it was constantly humid in there with an odor, even when we arrived, there was an odor. I thought I read that they had satellite tv, we had a 13 inch tu be tv with 13 channels. There was dust on the air conditioner, dust around the outlets. The remotes to the TV and air conditioner was greasy. Even the numbers on the TV remote wad rubbed off! Well I guess you get what you paid for. I do not recommend this hotel.
Friendliness of staff and the quality of the food
The room is big, comfortable and silent. Very good breakfast. It's beside the central railway, just a few steps away.
The neighbourhood at night doesn´t inspire much security.
The location of this hotel is great. It is round the corner from Garibaldi station for direct trains to Herculaneum, Pompeii or Sorrento. It is also just a couple of hundred metres from the Alibus (airport shuttle) stop. From the next door stop you can get the Alibus to the port for ferries to the islands. Our room was spotlessly clean with a refurbished bathroom. Receptionists were friendly and helpful.
The only criticism was that tinned fruit was served for breakfast. This was a little disappointing in Italy in the summer.
