The rooms were clean. The breakfast buffet was good. The kids enjoyed the eggs and the pastries. The staff was helpful in navigating the area around the hotel. A short walk from the hotel is Trastevere with shops, good food and a beautiful piazza in front of the Basilica Santa Maria in Trastevere. We came with a large group (10) and we were all on the same floor located near one another. I had requested that my children be close to me and were given an adjoining room. |

Desk staff extremely courteous & helpful (nome, Mark?). Windows open onto pleasant view of trees...lovely garden spaces; wonderful pool area, terrace and bar. Very generous collazione and delicious fresh buffalo mozzarella. Good cafe/bar & restaurants nearby and the park/giardino Gianicolo. I hope to take my husband there next year. Margaret Very bad odour of toxic spray of plants by gardener --- that is really unhealthy. Also, unfortunately some menu items were prefrozen/not fresh. |

Hotel was lovely with fresh towles every day. Day reception staff were lovely and very helpful with info to get to the sights of Rome. We stayed on our honeymoon and were given room 213 which was nice, and it had the biggest and best balcony I've ever seen, overlooking the pool area, it was 3 times the size of the room, it was brilliant! It was difficult to find the hotel. We arrived at about 11.30pm exhagusted and the man at reception was uncaring and dismissive. We arrived from the airport by train, (€11 each),into the main train station "Termini". The bus terminal is outside the train station to the right side and took the 75bus. Bought a bus ticket €1 at the news stand across the street because the taxi wanted €35. |

The hotel served it's purpose well. We enjoyed the pool, the breakfast and the free coffee, snacks area. Both breakfast (included) and lunch were very good although no evening meals served. We would stay there again. |

Good location for the Vatican and Stadio Olympico. Expensive for a 1 night stay as it clashed with Champions League Final. Nice swimming pool. |

The Hotel located to visit the Trastavere area, Vatican City, the Ancient Rome walk is perfect. Excellent breakfast good bus service, though we walked to Trastavere and walked back appreciating the views over Rome. Sitting out in the garden enjoying the free coffee and biscuits on tap made the perfect break before going to dinner or bed. Will stay here again when we return to Rome. Jacuzzi did not work but i did not ask management to fix it. I was too busy enjoying Rome and the Hotel. |

Perfect location in a beautiful part of Rome, close to a park with pleasant walks and stunning views of the city; the hotel also has an attracvtive garden. It is a short walk to Trastevere, and there are good links to the city centre. |

Position above Rome with excellent views over the city from nearby viewpoints. Quiet and clean, upmarket area and for those who dont mind a little walking good access to Trastevere and the most interesting areas of Rome. Faint wiff of tobacco smoke when initially taking over the room. |

great staff, great buffet bfast, near bus stop, beautiful old hotel Only restaurant near (1 block away) was very nice, but, extremely expensive. Location is in very nice area, but very busy streets. Since they had turned a/c off for season and it was very warm during the day, we had to open windows and it was very noisy. |

Far away from city center. You feel a bit isolated. Not many restaurants in the neighbourhood. Heavy smell of cigarette smoke in the room. Despite the fact that smoking is not allowed according to the staff at the hotel, there was an ash-tray in the room! If I would have stayed longer than two nights I would not have accepted this room. |
