Location Pool Friendly helpful staff Nice building
We had a special deal price, which made it affordable. The full price would have been too much. The hotel is set in a quiet location out of town in lovely grounds and garden. Super outdoor swimming pool. Spacious room with very comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast. If there was another special deal, I would return.
Too far out of town to be considered convenient. The swimming pool was closed despite the daytime temperature being 27 C. The shower in the room leaked when used causing the bathroom to flood.
Nice to be out of the hustle and bustle, easy 20min walk down through the Park,Bus back with Roma pass. Little family-run Rest.around the corner Carpe Diem, very reasonable and good.
Breakfast could improve. Do Italians really eat those stale buns ?
Little old but still charming. Perfect area, just outside of Trastevere. Pool was great to have after a day in the city. All in all a very nice place!
Good hotel with lovely pool. The breakfast room at the top of the hotel gave great views. Nearby viewing point locals come too on a Sunday eve to listen musiciansjudt lovely. Walked down steps to street side restaurants. Very good value and good food. I loved the area in the summer but maybe too far put in the colder months
All good. Hair dryer in room did not work but they fixed it straight away. Shower leaked but plenty of towels to put down seemed to be a design fault. We had a triple room which was otherwise fine. Was near a busy road we had the window open and but traffic must have been light as it did not disturb us
Location, swimming pool and staff
Not much, could do with a clean, breakfast needs simplifying to just cappuccino and croissant.
Helpful staff. Decent rooms. Good bed.
No Wifi. Location was not great, climbing the hill is a pain.
Our first room was too small and stuck behind the reception area. We opened our door to a Xerox machine facing us. They moved us but only after we complained to the manager
Excellent location - close to bus terminals. Very clean and quiet. Great pool (to relax in after a day of sightseeing) Excellent breakfast and breakfast room
Some staff quite stand-offish.
staff, breakfast in the roof top restaurant, swimming pool.
wearing swimming cap, pool a bit too crowded.
Pool, it was the only hotel we could find with a pool near central Roma. All the rest were on the ring road. Location, great location with great views, near enough to walk to and from (at top of steep hill so now for everyone) but far enough from the great nightlife to be quite. Was very quite in the rooms especially as the road runs around the entire site. Staff, very helpful. Price, great price for Rome.
Not sure I would call this a four star hotel but in Roma maybe it is. Was very 1980's Italian marble décor and the décor in the rooms is looking tired with water marks, scuffs and some peeling paper. Needs a refresh. Had to fix shower head with a toothpick to stop it sliding down the pole as the fixture was broken. Breakfast buffet a bit uninspiring. Had to ask for shampoo was not supplied in the bathrooms. They had it they just didn't put it in the rooms, saving money, who knows?
Pool is great to relax by after a hard morning of sightseeing. The staff were efficient and friendly. Nice traditional Italian rooms. Aircon and safe in the room. Breakfast is really good and afternoon tea in the bar included
Nothing. Would definitely return to this hotel!
Swimming pool excellent. Front desk staff efficient. Some front desk staff and night staff were excellent but overall understaffed. Views from fourth floor. Couple of restaurants around the corner. Visually very scenic and beautiful. Breakfast staff efficient and polite.
Peeling wallpaper in room. Shower is last century and very small, would not even get into it if you were a few stone overweight. No tea and coffee facilities in the room. Hotel advertises bar side pool and hotel bar yet these are not manned. Had to leave pool to go into front desk to ask for a waiter to do a coffee. This was after he saw me then disapeared inside without acknowledging my wave. Even then he only appeared 30 minutes later. Hotel on top of steep hill, not within walking distance of main sites across river which were approx 15 euros single Taxi. Hotel guests are definitely second class citizens to outside private parties which have priority in terms of restaurant service and take over public areas of the hotel such as bar area, common TV area and pool throughout mainly the evening. Also some of these parties can be very noisy. WiFi difficult to login to. Hotel home page did not show WiFi login page when there was no connection and difficult to get even through alternative paths via settings were tried. Hotel grounds are not as extensive as photos would suggest. Noisy traffic at nighttime. Wall rooms were thin could hear neighbouring guests in shower and coughing. Swimming pool should be open until 8 pm July and August as sometimes it is not possible to avail of pool prior to leaving for early morning tours. No english speaking TV channels.
staff behaviour not really four star service
The pool was great
Just a bit too far out of .the city centre .
Location and old world quality
Pool area closed early. Cocktail hour area closed early. Hotel gave preference to outside party group thus excluding hotel guests of use of public areas. Very unexpected and upsetting limits on quality and experience . Poor management decision to treat 4 star hotel guests as second class citizens.
Hotel should be renovated
The location The pool The staff The Breakfast The Building
The lunch and evening meals Expensive menu No tea and coffee in room The ceiling plaster was falling onto our bed Hotel in need of repairs and redecorated
Very attractive hotel and gardens-the perfect retreat after sight seeing in the city-relaxing by the pool with a cold beer what could be better.
nothing everything was great
The pillows and bed.
Smallest shower ever! No place to place shampoo and such in shower. Staff was a bit snooty and limited time to have a drink on the outside areas because of pool closing or other functions taking up the sitting area. The room was all bed!
Some staff were so helpful and went out of their way to serve while others were not so friendly.
No WIFI for our stay and no English channel on TV. Hotel was doing repairs on both and hoped that it would be offered in the future to guests. When showering our bathroom flooded we reported it and it is a simple fix but it was not done during our stay. :)
The pool was a wonderful respite after a day enjoying the site of room. The Hotel is located on a hill, and it takes about 30 minutes to walk to the Vatican - the walk affords some lovely views over the city. There was also a nice little bar close to the hotel for either pre-dinner drink or a nightcap, and it was also possible to walk to the centre of Trastevere in the evening which was perfect for us. I would definitely stay here again.
Our room had a connecting door and the occupants of the adjacent room were extremely noisy. We could here them talking, taking a shower and opening and closing drawers - at 4am! Didn't like having to wear a swimming cap in the pool.
The breakfast is very nice
The TV was not working, very bad signal flicking in and out. The wifi did not work in the rooms, you have to go into the foyer area to get a signal. After asking about it, no one seemed to really care or provide feedback. The show was terrible, leaked all over the bathroom and ran into the room. After making the staff aware, no one bothered to come and look at it, we just had to put up with it. No iron in the whole hotel to press a shirt. We rang down at 7pm to see if we could get a iron, the answer was no, none for the guests. We could book laundry pick-up in the morning.... very unhelpful
this was my 3rd visit. the location is excellent, swimming pool bonus. Tea and coffee available all day
nothing to dislike
The bar area was nice. Front desk staff were friendly.
Wifi only worked in the lobby. Rooms were very dated with wall paper peeling. Hotel was on the top of a very big hill, ok to walk down, terrible to walk back up to after walking through Rome all day. Parking at the hotel is not free. Its ten euros a day.
