Grand Hotel Aminta    

Spotlessly Clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The shuttle bus to and from Serrento is wonderful. Location is excellent, with excellent views of the Bay of Naples.

The staff made very little effort to welcome guests. Very impersonal. The hotel could use an uplift. We were place in a room in the annex. The staff did not indicate the way properly and one night we had to go down the dark road to access the lobby. No elevator.

Our room and views were amazing!

The shuttle was very very inconvenient. Coming only every 1 hour and then skipping convenient times for pick up (such as skipping the 10:30 pick up from Downtown Sorrento) was very inconvenient as we sometimes had to wait at the bus stop in the cold for over an hour.

Really enjoyable experience, affordable, good bedroom facilities, excellent breakfast. Bright, clean spacious with excellent views of Sorrento and surrounding district.

Could have more choice for dinner menue. More information available on walking pathways etc.

Far from city center, no coffe in the room, no extra towel

The location gave super views and free shuttle bus to town excellent. We stayed in the separate building which was a super walk through very well maintained gardens and lemon groves, felt like we were in a country villa, loved it. If it rained you could get a bit wet walking to the main building though. All the staff are really great, polite, willing and helpful. Bar and outside area quite lovely.

Wish the shuttle bus had return bus at 10.30, runs 9.30 and 11.30 one is a bit early and one too late .Food was OK, varied a lot, we were A la Carte and it was priced competitively. I did not like the big hole at the top of the pool steps as I fell in it and really cut my knee, still in pain now. Even though I complained there was nothing done about it before we left. Would be very dangerous for anyone.

Staff were excellent, hotel is beautiful - creates a lovely relaxing ambiance, which is exactly what you need for holidays. Breakfast was lovely and views from hotel bar & outdoor terrace cannot be beaten.

Free shuttle bus doesn't run at 10.30 - this is the only hour it doesn't run in the evening but in my opinion is the time most suitable as 11.30 is a little late if you are getting up early for day trips the next day & 9.30 is a little early.

Highly recommend this hotel. The views were amazing, the staff was great. It is a bit out of Sorrento city center, however, a free shuttle that runs every hour makes it a great place for a relaxing romantic weekend in the pool with amazing views.

The rooms were a bit outdated and breakfast was very limited.

Reception staff are very friendly and helpful. Great views and very nice and comfortable room. Own olive and lemon garden.

Beautiful view over sorrento. Frequent and reliable bus service (hourly, with a break over lunch) ran until 1130pm so could opt to stay in sorrento for dinner. Central location on the Amalfi coast for sight seeing. Free parking. Good wifi connection.

Perfect if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city of Sorrento, but still very close. You either walk down to town or take the free shuttle bus. Fantastic view and great staff. We got a good price on an attic room and the price performance was totally satisfying.

Thin walls in our room - all the activity in the corridor and the next room sounded as if it was taking place in our room. No big problem, though, this particular area was fairly quiet.

Beautiful hotel with very friendly staff. Breakfast buffet was delicious. The views were spectacular.

The flags outside the room were very noisy at night time and disturbed our sleep every night we stayed.

Staff was very friendly and always helpful. The food was lovely. We loved the view and the courtesy bus. Lovely over all!

As we visited early in April it was a bit cold in the room, especially in the evening/night.
