Beautifully renovated .Gorgeous comfortable suite with terrace Staff was courteous kind knowledgeable and very very helpful

My only criticism is that for a hotel on this level the breakfast was mediocre .I compare it to hotels of equal reputation and luxury level such as the 4 Seasons and the Ritz. You should check them out.

Bologna is a beautiful city and the Grand is right in the middle of it all. We had a lovely room with a great views of the city. Staff were very attentive and the service was first class.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Excellent location next to P. Maggiore. It is a lovely olde worlde style hotel. The in room bathroom amenities were excellent. Lovely newly refurbed white bathroom. Some public areas (corridors) could use a refurb (carpet worn in certain areas, the chair in my room was very bumped and scratched). I paid eur215 per night (single) and it was worth that money. I know that during some of the busy fiera (exhibition) periods the rate goes up to over eur500 a night - the room would not be worth that much. I would consider that too over the top. The breakfast room was very pleasant with impeccable professional service. The breakfast selection was very good - good healthy options of fruit salad, fresh fruit, yoghurt, various cereals and eggs besides the 6 varieties of cakes

I enjoyed my stay completely. No negatives.

A first-class hotel. Great service, lovely decor. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The room is wonderful! There is no bad point: Localization, Clean, Kind employees, staff, breakfast, parking service, everything is great!

The dinner menu is not plenty but the taste is good.

Everyone was very polite and helpful

The staff of the hotel are helpful and efficient. The location is excellent as it is very close to the square and the best shops can be found along the same road. We had an excellent tour of the parmaggiano regiano cheese factory, balsamic vinegar and the proschuitto ham factories. The guide, Allesandro, from Italian Days Food Experience, was most entertaining and informative. Glad we came.

Although no longer a member of the Baglioni group the Majestic is just as good as on our previous visit when it was rated the best hotel in Italy. The situation is perfect for a city trip, adjoining the newly opened Fava collection with Carracci murals and very close to the Medieval and Musical Instruments museums. We were treated to a visit with demonstrations of the keyboard instruments in the latter. The Carracci restaurant is under new management but is as charming as before.

A very minor quibble is that we found the pop background music in the restaurant and breakfast rooms not to our tast. This is a problem everywhere for mature music lovers. In I Carracci the volume was lowered at our request with no objection from the other diners.

Cet établissement est vraiment superbe ! Le hall d'entrée avec un personnel fort accueillant, les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables et les salles pour les repas très jolies. Le buffet du petit déjeuner en international et fort copieux. Sa situation juste à côté du centre historique était un vrai bonheur. Nous avons en plus eu une chambre située au calme même avec la fenêtre ouverte. Je vous le conseille !

Dans notre cas, en arrivant à Bologne en voiture, ce n'était pas évident d'arriver à l'hôtel qui est dans une zone à circulation limitée et l'hôtel ne se voit pas depuis la rue.

Superior Zimmer schön, aber zuviel Patina, müsste aufgefrischt werden. Zimmerpreis Preis/Leistung stimmt nicht verglichen mit ähnlichen Häusern.
