Great service! Staff were very helpfull and polite at all times, immediately service. 5 stars definitely.

Rooms facilities in need of updating, bathrooms very old in need of refurbishment.

The location was excellent close to the main piazza. Our room was upgraded, the staff were very pleasant and helpful. It was a truly luxurious experience.

Having a junior suite with balcony made for a very comfortable stay. The staff was both courteous and helpful.

Staff and location were great. Rooms nicely appointed and very comfortable. Bar and restaurant scene fab. Great hotel.

Only 1 thing I would change - please change Al Green music in bar and restaurants periodically. After 3 days, can never listen to Al again.

great staff and excelent service

We really liked the premises, common areas and location: just forget about the room, one of the poorest I've ever been.

Although the premises and common areas are wonderful, the room we were assigned (219) was just horrible. Furniture is not vintage, antique or stylish... It's just old. Same thing for the bathroom that looks like an awful souvenir from the 70s. Without considering the stereo system: taken from the 70s, I had not seen it around in two decades at least. When I complained to the reception, I was told that better rooms were available, although this was the most basic one: as a matter of fact, when I book a room at a hotel that claims to be 5 stars luxury, I expect everything to be perfect, at all levels. A much better room than the one we stayed in could have been found in most hotels, without paying 270 euro: this was just a bad experience.

The carpets were not clean. And the room was not hoovered properly.

Beautiful hotel, high ceilings, large room, view, good concierge, amazing location, modern gym.

Gym and spa could be larger although it was modern and fine.

GPS system's do not take you to hotel correctly and run you into unidentified dead ends. Some warning is required. Hotel staff was excellent in sending a person to get us and lead us in though.

Outstanding hotel staff! Courteous, friendly and very helpful. This is the key! Rooms were beautiful. Foyer was beautiful. Glass vases exhibited were lovely. Excellent breakfast buffet.

Outstanding, helpful and courteous staff. Please note that we will use room w for 5 nights and leave on 30 August and room 2 for ony 4 nights, checking out of that room on 29 August.

This is a beautiful hotel with the most wonderful staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them. My wife had an accident on our first day. They sorted out the trip to the hospital, the hire of a wheelchair and then the purchase of a wheelchair for us. Without all this help our holiday would have been a disaster. The restaurant staff were excellent were superb nothing was too much trouble. We would give this hotel top marks.

The only downside was there was no wheelchair access which made it very difficult for my wife after her accident which was very embarrassing for her having to crawl up the front steps. She did not let this spoil her holiday and the staff were so kind.

Great!!! Everything was perfect: location, staff, rooms, breakfast, restaurant. Design of hotel and rooms are just royal!!! We like very much the furnitura.

This hotel is gorgeous! Newly remodeled and just incredibly luxurious. The hotel staff was extremely professional and courteous. We had a very early flight and they accomodated our (very) early morning needs. The location could not be better as well. The room was elegant and comfortable. The bathroom was large and had lovely products. Wifi is free! Do not miss aperitivo in the restaurant. When I go back to Bologna, I will stay at this hotel!

It has a great location and a very nice breakfast and nicest waiter. And of course prosecco!

Since I look younger the receptionist was a little bit bossy... :)

Bologna is a beautiful city and the Grand is right in the middle of it all. We had a lovely room with a great views of the city. Staff were very attentive and the service was first class.

Роскошный отель прямо в центре города. Больше похож на дворец. Вышколенный персонал, идеальная чистота, прекрасный завтрак. Номер люкс - это действительно люкс. Окна выходят прямо на вход собора святого Петра. До вокзала 10 минут пешком или 6 евро на такси. Кругом рестораны и кафешки. Очень хороший китайский ресторан в трех кварталах от центра с правой стороны, ничего не понимают ни на каком языке, зато если тыкать пальцем в меню с картинками, то очень вкусно

exzellenter Service in Rezeption, Housekeeping, Hilfestellungen, Frühstücksbedienung etc. etc: kaum zu toppen. Ebenso die "Organisation" rund um das Auto, mit dem man in Hotelnähe unmöglich parken kann, aber das wird hier routiniert per Portierservice erledigt.

kein Manko: alles entsprach mindestens unseren Erwartungen an ****S
