Our room overlooked Sorrento and the harbour and the view was beautiful. The hotel staff was very helpful and the restaurant and staff were excellent. Though not inexpensive we found our stay worth the cost. |

Everything was just perfect. Hotel has one of the most beautiful views in the world! Very kind, friendly, and helpful staff. Big, clean rooms. We had the Deluxe room with beautiful views of the sea, bay, and the garden. Pool area and restaurant, bar, breakfast salon were all beautifully designed/decorated. I wonder why they don't give it 5 stars. Will most definitely stay there again. Roberta at the front desk was always smiling, pleasant, and helpful. When in Sorrento try to get reservations for Il Bucco restaurant.... Very romantic and unbelievable food. It's dressy and expect to pay +180 Euros for two, but well worth it. |

Room very spacious and clean. Very good bathroom. Great views from public areas. some rooms suffer loud road noise. food is "package holiday" standard, coffee at breakfast unbelievably bad. 3.5 euros per day for use of room safe. Reception computer also payable. |

Fantastic hotel that desrves the title 'Grand'. We had a huge balcony room with a glorious view across the bay to Vesuvius. The place has wall to wall staff and excellent facilities including five swimming pools that cascade down a hillside. Staying here put a serious dent in our budget, but we were prepared to splurge on a little luxury towards the end of our trip and that's what we got. |

The sea view was fantastic. The walk to town was long, but the sense of escape from the crowds was wonderful. Service in the dining room was not good. We had to wait a long time for food and finally left without being served desert on one occassion. |

We were extremely pleased with Grand Hotel Capodimonte. Excellant location approx 10mins walk from centre, breathtaking panoramic views of Sorrento/Bay of Naples, friendly/helpful staff, great food & very luxurous hotel. We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. |

It was a beautiful setting with superb views over the bay of Naples. For a very large hotel it offered many quiet and private spaces. The deluxe room was excellent and had a wonderful bathroom. No tea making facilities in the rooms. |

The views from the Hotel Terrace and Restaurant were amazing. The staff were lovely. The location meant that it was at a bend in a road which was difficult to cross during busy times. I seems that Italian's do not adhere to pedestrian crossings. |

Friendly and helpful staff, wonderful view from the room terrace towards the gulf of Sorrento, excellent location for touring Sorrento, Pompeii and Capri, good restaurant at reasonable prices (we preferred the a la cart menue to the set menue). The bed blanket was old and worn out. Smoking fumes seeped into our bathroom through the ventilation system. The hotel doesn't have a physicla fitness facility. It charges EUR15 a day for parking. |

The cocktail evening where the hotel supplied canapes and reduced price cocktails which encouraged guests to stay in the hotel. This was an excellent opportunity to meet other guests. |

I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The location is perfect for visiting Sorrento and the surrounding area, the hotel itself is attractive & spotlessly clean and every member of staff was friendly and helpful. All of this on top of a breathtaking view of the Bay of Naples! I stretched my budget to stay here and it was the best decision I made. |

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. We had a lovely room out front which is near the main road. It was noisey but so are most of the hotels in Sorrento. Our room was lovely but there are some that are adequate but not fabulous. The hotel sits aside a mountain and has many levels. Our room was on the 2nd floor and the lobby is on the 5th as are most of the function rooms. The pools overlooks the bay and is in about 7 terraces with a wonderful grill and also poolside servie. There were at least 7 weddings there in our 9 night stay. It is obviously know as "the spot" for weddings. We would definitely book again but with a request for the same high quality room. |

We had a wonderful stay in the Capodimonte. Nice friendly staff. Very comfortable bedroom. Breakfast fab! When booking - room with garden view - description very misleading as our room looked on to a cliff wall and was very dark! When asked to be moved reception would not accommodate us even though it was evident that all rooms were not occupied. |

Good view from dining room, rooms on floors 9-11 facing sea very good. Full of UK package tourists. Rooms on floors 2-4 near road very noisey. Package tour food, no Italian quality food. No extra facilities only cold swimming pool. |
