Grand Hotel Bonanno is located in a quiet area of Pisa, a 10 minute walk from the Leaning Tower. The hotel offers free parking, and large rooms with Sky satellite TV, air conditioning, and minibar.
Score from 1148 reviews Good
Located 50 metres from Pisa’s Piazza dei Miracoli and 100 metres from the Leaning Tower, Hotel Pisa Tower features air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV.
Score from 1831 reviews Excellent
Featuring free Wi-Fi, the NH Cavalieri is a modern building across from Pisa Train Station. The airport shuttles stop in front of the hotel, and the Leaning Tower is just a 20-minute walk away.
Score from 1307 reviews Very good
The Royal Victoria is the only hotel in historic central Pisa overlooking the Arno River. Take a short walk across charming, medieval streets and you will soon reach the Leaning Tower.

Location for Pisa tower, staff friendly.
Hotel just a bit tired and needs refurbishment.
The location and the view from the roof terrace. Wow!!!
The breakfast. Coffees and Orange juices were dispensed by automatic drinks machines. From an hotel of that calibre I expected fresh orange juices to be served and coffees made with a proper coffee machine.
Friendly staff, large clean rooms and excellent location for exploring Pisa.
It was tricky trying to find the route by car to the hotel.
Really close to the Pía tower, it's just 3- 5 minutes walking to it. Spacious room. Small balcony that you can see the top half of Pisa tower from it.
Old building and old interior. I got a room on third floor and hardly have wifi connection. Once I got out of the room and stood near the stair, I got usable wifi. Told the reception, they tried rebooting the router but it doesn't help. Reception charged my MasterCard automatically without asking which payment method I prefer. In my opinion, it does not deserve a 4-stars hotel.
Hotel Cleanliness Old Breakfast Noise
the staff gave great service; the location was exceptional as it was a short walk to the main monuments; the bathroom was modern and clean. My room was fine but I was most impressed with the service before the booking and during my stay. The front desk staff (especially one gentlemen) went out of his way to help us print boarding passes. It might not sound like a big effort but it was and he was most generous with his time and use of the pc. Breakfast was also quite good.
it was not a problem but the reception desk is modest and does not reflect the quality or comfort of the rooms.
Nice old building very close to the leaning tower. Helpful staff. Small room but adequate.
The breakfast room was a bit chaotic.
I loved to look out of my window to see the Cathedral and Tower. Roberto was one of the best bartenders to ever serve me. Good Breakfast
many stairs and a lot of climbing.
Location is excellent and staff is fairly responsive
The room we were staying was very dirty. The bathroom smelled so bad, my wife couldn't use it. I think hotel management just don't care to properly clean rooms. This is deffinetly not 4 star hotel, best 2 star. Because of the dust, my wife got allergic and drilled me whole night about bad choice. Well on website it looks really nice, so I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.
Nice, old charm, excellent location, balcony, very good, king-sized beds, very nice, thick, blend- white towels and many of them, they were changed every day, it was not needed, we stayed only 2 nights Even the bed was changed. Beautiful, big rooms and the lobby is very nice as well with christal chandeliers and cosy skin sofas and armchairs. You have to sit there, there is no internet access in the rooms.
In the corners, under the bed, in the corners of the bathroom and bathtube! were dusty, you could not miss it. Otherwise clean. If you are not disurbed by the noise from the street, then it is OK but there is a restaurant on the other side and it is noisy to late night and even in the morning when the buisness begins at 8. The city centre is not near but all the buses are going there, you get there very fast. On the other hand you must not go to the centre, not to much to see there except nice buildings.
staff roof terrace breakfast
shower old furniture
The roof top terrace
No service at breakfast and having to pay extra for fruit juice and eggs other than boiled.
Location is excellant for viewing tower and for access to restaurants.Desk staff very friendly and helpful
Room was a little small but we arrived before official checkin time and may have been given the room that was available at the time. it was not a problem as we wereonly staying one night.
The location of the hotel was on the door step of the Leaning Tower of Pisa - plenty of restaurants in the area - the rest of the city was beautiful not exactly to walk though - but there is a city tour train.
A bar close to the Leaning Tower of Pisa - we asked for an ice cream and a glass of wine, we went to go outside to sit and was rudely asked to stand at the bar to eat and drink respectively. We had not paid for the price of either item to sit down!
- proximity of Piazza del Duomo, - proximity of historic centre of Pisa, - several nice restaurants on the hotel's street Via Santa Maria, - 15 minutes by taxi from/to airport
- **** Stars is probably too much: - the hotel rooms ought to be renovated including the furniture - the breakfast ingredients could be of a better quality
Very central in Pisa Nice bar and bartender ;-))
Arrived 9 AM to breakfast, many plates were empty, green eggs ;-((
Location was perfect, including roof-top views across city. Facilities very good with friendly helpful staff (particularly the mature barman!). Excellent breakfast, catering for all tastes.
Small room, but adequate for overnight stay. Hot drinks facilities unavailable in room (mini bar only!)
The room was very dirty. There was a lot of hair in the bath room and I needed to wipe a stool 4 times to clean it. Beds were reasonably clean but were not made properly. Bottom sheets were just put on the top of the matresses and not tucked in. I feel that this hotel is seriously lacking the most basic idea of hotel business: 'Welcoming guests'.
Convenient to the main sight seeing square
We had a front bedroom and there was Noise in the street at night .
We were so close to the Leaning Tower, a couple of minutes' walk in one direction, and convenient for shopping and restaurants in the other direction. Staff were helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was good.
Our room was tiny, and dark - we could not open the shutters. We were only there for one night so it didn't really matter but for a longer stay we would have asked to be moved.
The location and the staff
Wifi a bit slow
Near the tower -good reasonable restaurants nearby- impressive lobby- 15 euros to Pisa airport
Was assured we had a nice view -it wasn't !No info in folder regarding the room, ie restaurant, bar etc plus no tea/coffee in room, had to tel to find where mini bar was -it was a bedside table not under the main desk Was informed staff give all info well the lovely girl who took the luggage had only started and didn't no where breakfast room or anything was ,bar was closed at 5pm and needed water for medication told to use mini bar which we couldn't find and had to tel. I was so disappointed with all
Very close to the leaning tower, and not too far of a walk to the main center of Pisa. Very friendly staff, that provided some good information on placed to eat. Ideal for a short stay.
