The location of the hotel was sensational. The rooms were generous in size and furnished to a high standard. The main rooms of the hotel are extremely grand and impressive. Best of all was the breakfast, a huge range, freshly baked croissants, tarts and sicilian biscuits. Divine! |

Just location. I have so many terrible thongs in this hotel. The room is not clean. THere are hairs on the bed and towels are not changed. So, they changed my room, however, there are worm-ant on the bed and the big fle was flying. So, they changed my room again. The third room is suit room. However, rusty water is flowing from the tap in all staying. And the breakfast is tastless. So, I decided that I will never go to old hotel without renewal. |

Oor second stay at the hotel, not as good as last time but still a hotel you can recommend with no problems. Clean, safe, almost friendly (or used to be) and a historical landmark in the absolutely wunderfull city of Palermo. You can walk almost anywhere from the hotel, we walked for hours everyday. We got a room o the backyard, not impressive still decent size. No one seemed to care about he package we bought , we got no tea, no tickets for museum, but finally got a small matchbox size card box with 3 small "cakes" - that is not what i call a package...... |

This hotel has a good location. It is within walking distance of the centro storico where most attractions are located. Yet, it is located in a newer part of the city which is free of the oppressive atmosphere prevalent in the centro storico which is caused by the very narrow streets, thick traffic and the extremely run down buildings. This belle epoque hotel is quite atmospheric. The hotel is not entirely well maintained. We found the curtain fallen down when we were back. |

The staff were pleasant and helpful, quick to offer directions and maps. The hotel was very expensive considering it was only bed, there were no tea etc facilities, all food was very expensive and cover charges on everything. Even bottled water was £6 + cover charge. The area was filthy and beggars seemed menacing at night as they usually had 4-6 dogs running lose with them. It is very disabled unfriendly. |

The hotel has bags of character and charm and all of the staff were pleasant and helpful. It is well situated and there is plenty to see within easy walking distance, just remember to look left when you cross via Roma, I almost got wiped out by a bus! |

The location is excellent, in a very nice part of the city, convenient to all attractions. A mild wish is that they would clean the carpets in the public parts of the hotel. All else is very nice. |

The room was big and they have nicely added the 3rd bed for our 3-year old daughter, free-of-charge. The Staff at the Reception Desk was polite, extremely helpful and reliable. They had prepared take away breakfast bags for us on our departure at 5:45AM, though at our request. The breakfast spread was good. It will be most welcomed if the hotel can provision and provide, though at be at request of guests, kettle or coffee maker in the room. Useful for our case to prepare and make milk for our 3-year daughter. |

Parties communes magnifiques. Salles de petit déjeuner très belles et très agréables. Personnel attentionné. Les chambres sont belles aussi mais bien sûr n'ont pas le cachet "historique" du reste. L'aspirateur mériterait d'être plus sérieusement passé dans les chambres.Quand on reste une semaine, on finit par trouver le petit déjeuner peu varié voire ordinaire. Les gâteaux, viennoiseries et le pain sont bons mais le café américain est imbuvable et les fromages/charcuterie de bas de gamme, sans parler des jus de fruit... au pays des oranges (en hiver) c'est dommage. Un petit effort et ce serait très bien... |
