The view is gorgeous, the location spot-on. The rooms are without characters, as the old building has been gutted and refurbished. We were in the old building, but everything looked like 1980s design. The covered car park is welcome because it is near to impossible. The hotel charges an outrageous rate for internet and does not have free wifi in the rooms.

Not a great hotel, you pay for the view. Some staff very good however service in restaurant and bar was slow and staff were not at all friendly. Facilities for a 4 star were mediocre. The views were stunning.

Fantastic lakeside pool location. Hotel nicer than anticipated. Reception staff very helpful. Two restaurants, first - lakeside spectacular position but service and food not as good as the other garden restaurant which would highly recommend. Hotel perfect base for relaxing but little else in village so be prepared to travel by boat or car to visit other places. Not the place if you want nightlife but a lovely relaxing treat and good base to explore other areas. Be prepared to pay top end for drinks. Get to pool early for sun loungers. WiFi charged as extra.

Location in Moltrasio 5 minutes from Como was great, charming little village. Nice enough Place. Staff was friendly. If you missed breakfast, good luck getting anything before the other restaurants opened. Also good luck finding food after 9:30, and there is not really other options in town. A bit secluded from everything. Staff were nice, would try to help, but for a 4 star were not very accommodating. For perspective I have stayed in everything from hostels to five star hotels. Nice place, not impressed by the staff and their helpfulness. Lake Como is amazing, would not recommend this hotel, but would also not say do not stay here.

The location by the lake was excellent. The dinners by the lakeside restaurant were excellent too. Our first room faced to the left a wall and had limited view towards the cliff. We asked to change the room and from the 2nd day on we were moved to a room with lake view.

The setting was beautiful. The staff was very helpful. The food was very good.Access to other places on the lake was easy. The pool and tennis court is great. The work-out room was being upgraded at the time we were there but they made accommodations for us--when the facility is coomplete it will be great. It was a bit difficult to get there from Milan. A taxi ride from Milan to the hotel was 130,00.

They gave us room upgrade because the heating in the room we wanted was faulty and they threw in free breakfast as well. Beautiful view and close to Como for some culture and shopping. The receptionist recommended restaurant in the area en we had exceptional meal. The one thing that stood out was the staff, very dedicated.

Our room had a large corner terrace overlooking the lake, which we enjoyed a lot. The staff at the reception were also very friendly While the staff at breakfast were very professional and nice and the breakfast room has a lovely location, the breakfast quality could use some improvement, mainly the hot choices.

The staff was friendly. The room was clean with usual facilities. Disappointed not able to swim in the pool in early Oct - closed - told I could sit next it. May be my disappointment was because I had just come from a more luxurious hotel.

There's nothing to dislke. All the staff are very friendly and are willing to help you. The location literally on the shore of Lake Como is perfect. Close to the ferry, so easy to hop from town to town to explore. Hotel restaurant has beautiful view of lake, and the food is pretty special too. Small town but as well as the hotel there was a bar serving snacks and another restaurant, so had we stayed there and not moved, food would not have been a problem. This isn't a complaint - just a cheeky observation............. I've spent the last year learning Italian but all the staff, keen to improve their English because of the American interest, told me not to bother making the effort!!!!!!

Excellent room, complete package of services. Great view of Como lake, Moltrasio is a nice little town. Bar service was a bit slow, maybe a bit overrun by a wedding party? The restaurant associated with the hotel (Imperialino) does not provide the same bang for the buck as the hotel. Would suggest you look elsewhere in Moltrasio for diner.

The hotel gardens and pool were fabulous. Our room was large and airy if a little dated. Staff well trained but seemed be unaware of guests needs and were too nnoisy at times in the restaurant. We were told by the front desk that one of the restaurants was michelin starred. The food was better at the local retauarnat over the road.

Location on the lake. Boat stop right across the street. Large rooms with balconies. Very inexpensive pizzaria right around the corner. You can rent a speed boat right down the street for about 80 euros an hour and drive up and down Lake Como, Nobody on the lake at all hardly.

Staff were very helpful plus a good variety of food at breakfast. There was building work taking place that we were not made aware of, and we insisted on an alternative room because of the noise and the loss of view on the first room offered. Additionally a cost of 20 Eurros per day to park a car is unrealistic. Restuarant was expensive but perhaps expected for a 4 star hotel.
