A great, privately-run hotel and an excellent base for visiting Pompeii, the Amalfi Coast and the Naples area. An oasis of calm in a busy, densely populated region. Superb gardens and facilities and attentive, friendly staff. |

The hotel has a wonderfull staff trying to solve any problem.The room was very comfortable and clean. The food in the restaurant is good and of high level.The garden is amazing. I will probable choose this hotel again. |

The hotel staff are friendly and helpful and the level of service is very high. The hotel itself is in a great location for sightseeing and a free shuttle to the station is provided, (the train being the easiest way to get around). It is luxuriously decorated and has a large garden area where you can relax with a cocktail, and a big swimming pool to cool off in. The hotel restaurant serves wonderful food or there are a few other restaurants just a short walk away. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to go back one day! |

we had a lovely stay here. The staff are very polite, smart, well turned out and warm. The gardens of the hotel are stunning and are great to relax with a book and a lovely bottle of wine. The hotel was very peaceful so great for couples. you would need a car staying here as the hotel is not in walking distance to any attractions. The food was good but a little pricey. A good breakfast was put on every morning. |

this hotel was one of the best during our 4 week trip in Italy. Excellent services and very friendly. Our 3 day stay was too short to enjoy this hotel fully. |

The hotel provided excellent service, including the personal interest and kindness of the manager, had a very good combination of efficiency yet friendliness, was generous in its attitudes (not grasping for every extra they could secure), very fine food, and a lovely location. We would love to go back there sometime. |

Top quality hotel resort with excellent facilities & service. Vey helpful management & staff, nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful & immaculately kept grounds for relaxation. A truly superb hotel. The location was not that upmarket. but once within the grounds this was not at all noticeable. |

We had a wonderful stay at the Medusa. We were treated very well and looked after. The hotel was beautful and the gardens were gorgeous. We had a very relaxing enjoyable stay. The Hotel Manager was excellent and made us feel like nothing was any trouble. I would recommend this hotel and would go back |

Excellent swimming pool, lovely gardens and very kind and attentive staff. Breakfast was great - especially the do it yourself orange juice machine! The location requires you taking a hire car as you will need to travel away from the area to visit popular attractions such as Amalfi coast, Sorrento & Pompei. |

Beautiful setting. Very Posh. Pictures do not do it justice. There is nothing close to hotel. Location is too remote for touring the area. You really need a car. Shuttle only available in morning. |

We loved the way the hotel staff spoiled us every step of the way. They could not do enough for us and we appreciated their attendance very much. And, of course, we loved the "garden of Eden" that sorrounds the hotel. Our stay at the La Medusa was one of the best. |

The staff was very helpful, the setting beautiful with orange and lemon trees in the garden (freshly squeezed orange juice at breakfast). We had a glorious view of the vulcano Vesuvio and the whole bay of Naples. |

Reception staff about the most friendly & helpful of any in a hotel I have ever used - brilliant! Hotel setting lovely, rooms and hotel excellent. An oasis on the outskirts of a plain an rather 'unexciting' town. Whilst accepting my visit was off season (Feb) it was disappointing there was no restaurant service for dinner in the hotel. Surrounding restaurants rather average. |

We spent there only one night, but the hotel with its beautiful garden was just great, even in February. Friendly staff, spacious room, comfortable bed etc... The town of Castellammare di Stabia is not very nice, so you have to drive to Amalfi coast to get decent views. Anyway, Grand Hotel La Medusa was perfect for us, an island. |

The staff was very helpful in giving us tips about restaurants and places to go. Parking possible at the hotel. Yummy breakfast with fresh pastries and fresh juice. We visited in winter, but I can imagine in summer their beautiful garden with pool is like a little paradise :) |

Whilst a 5* Hotel, the staff where very friendly, not the alloof stufiness you sometimes get in high quality hotels, which made us very comfortable staying there with the The hotel is muchg further from the town centre than we thought, with a long steep walk down unlit road without a path. A car or taxi is required for every outing. |

L'albergo esternamente è affascinante, ben tenuto, parcheggio privato, ottima posizione e a 5 mn dal centro di Castellammare di Stabia. Silenzioso e tranquillo ottimo per relax. La suite prenotata non era del suo livello. Lampadario storto,frigobar puzza di muffa. Il bagno lascia a desiderare, porta box doccia rotta e rubinetteria vecchia. Abbiamo richiesto la colazione in camera ma non ci è stata portata, solo dopo nostra chiamata al centralino (intorno le ore 08.00) sono venuti a ritirare la richiesta appesa fuori sulla maniglia. La colazione era inclusa nel prezzo della camera ma hanno ugualmente addebitato 40 euro (alla fraccia della colazione) sulla ricevuta fiscale. |
