Location. Staff made fun of us on arrival, assuming we didn't understand Italian. The airco did not work. Reception did not give us our id cards back on check out. When we returned later that day to pick up our id cards, the hotel was closed! We had to go to another hotel from the same group to get someone to open the hotel door and give us our documents back. Their comment: "i'm sorry, but we have closed this hotel for the next week." |

The Grand Hotel Liberty has a great location, close to the ferry landing site and close to downtown shopping. The rooms are tastefully decorated and the guestroom bathrooms are among the nicest we have seen in Europe. The entire hotel is spotless and the continental breakfast offers great variety. This was our second visit to Liberty and we will surely be back again. |

The hotel, although the rooms are small is very elegent. The staff is exceptional, most professional. All desk staff that I dealt with speak english, and make excellent recommendations for tourists. Well done! I would certainly stay there again when in Messina. |

Staff Very friendly. No internet point. Wifi is no good for holidaymakers who do not want to carry a lap top around with them. There should also be tea and coffee making facilities in every room |

The staff were exceedingly helpful. We had problems with our rented car and the two reception staff were fantastic. |

Buen trato del personal, magnifico desayunos, muy práctico porque cerca de la estación de ferrocarriles, de autobuses y del centro ciudad. Optima limpieza. Me gustaría que tuviese restaurante, aunque uno pueda comer en el Royal Palace Hotel, de la misma cadena. |

camere eccellenti.molto eleganti. Realmente un hotel molto di sopra del proprio livello. nessun aspetto negativo a parte l'assenza di prese di corrente agevolmente raggiungibili per poter ricaricare cellulari o pc ecc.. |
