The staff was very helpful and curteous. The breakfast was delicious, and offered a wide variety of fresh fruits, breads, juices and everything we could have wanted. The room was beautiful. There is nothing we did not like about the hotel. |

Very spacious room--big bed downstairs and 2 twin beds upstairs as well as a sitting room. Hotel is very close to the train station and to all the attractions in Florence. Furniture and carpeting need updating. |

Breakfast was excellent In a 4 star hotel one would expect that the air conditioning would work no matter the season. The room was far too hot and because of this myself and my partner were dehydrated all weekend and did not sleep well. This, as you can expect, affected everything else about the experience. We did voice our displeasure with the staff but nothing was done. |

Stylish hotel in a perfect position for sightseeing. We only booked the Classic room but it was larger than any room we have stayed in in Europe. Huge bed and lovely decor. Additionally there was a good sized bathroom with nice soft towels. Good view of city from pool area. Breakfast was very good with enough variety to suit all tastes. Staff very friendly and efficient. Would recommend to anyone planning to go to Florence. Loved the way the carpet in the lift was changed every day ... had the day of the week woven into the pile! |

The hotel is first rate. Liked the pool on the roof with views over the rest of Florence. Weather wasn't greate so we only used it once. Had a lovely meal in the restaurant - had the taster menu and loved it. |

Lovely room and 24 hour free WiFi, nice staff, delicious food in the dining room, great location Dining room meals were all very expensive. Might be nice to have a few cheaper alternatives. As one guest told me, I don't always like "posh" food but my wife does. |

great central location but quiet with it. the real draw and selling point of the hotel was the roof top terrace and pool for the price of the room, I would have expected breakfast to be included. |

We had a wonderful stay in the hotel, it was perfect from start to finish, the location is ideal, we walked everywhere, the room was spacious, the breakfast, the bet we had in Italy and the roof top pool and bar were just the icing on the cake, I can strongly recommend the hotel and I will definitely be returning. |

The hotel staff is willing to give you any direction needed. It is very convenient to all sites. I especially enjoyed the Boboli Gardens and the Piazza de Signoria. Having the small pool and rest area on the top of the hotel was a treat. Please ignore anyone concerned about the people in the piazza in front of the hotel. it is safe. i was a single woman traveling and did not have any concerns. this hotel is not luxurious but very comfortable and convenient. The restaurant Grotta de Leo just around the corner is unassuming yet De-licious and very reasonable. |

Pretty much everything - location is great, staff are excellent, Florence is wonderful. Would stay again. Yes - the refusal to allow one to iron one's clothes in the bedroom is petty and silly. Coffee quality needs to be improved for breakfast. |
