Grand Hotel Minerva

Rommet var stort, luftig og veldig koselig innredet. Stort bad med svært gode fasiliteter. Rommet vi hadde var perfekt plassert i hotellet med altan og utsikt ut mot Piazza Santa Maria Novelle.Hotellet gav en god opplevelse av å leve i litt luksus. Veldig god betjening av alle i personalet vi snakket med eller fikk hjelp av. En stor takk til strøkne skjorter - man kan nemlig bare ta en telefon, så kommer personalet og henter skjortene dine og stryker dem på et "blunk". Bassenget på taket var svært innbydenede, med både sittegrupper, solsenger og en liten bar med divesre forfriskninger og snaks man kunne bestille. Perfekt beliggenhet i forhold til togstasjon, shoppingmuligheter, kulturopplevelser, restaurantbesøk med mer.

The staff was very helpful and curteous. The breakfast was delicious, and offered a wide variety of fresh fruits, breads, juices and everything we could have wanted. The room was beautiful.

There is nothing we did not like about the hotel.

Very spacious room--big bed downstairs and 2 twin beds upstairs as well as a sitting room. Hotel is very close to the train station and to all the attractions in Florence.

Furniture and carpeting need updating.

Breakfast was excellent

In a 4 star hotel one would expect that the air conditioning would work no matter the season. The room was far too hot and because of this myself and my partner were dehydrated all weekend and did not sleep well. This, as you can expect, affected everything else about the experience. We did voice our displeasure with the staff but nothing was done.

The restaurant recommendation from the reception was perfect. Best tip in the whole Italy trip!

Dining room meals were all very expensive. Might be nice to have a few cheaper alternatives. As one guest told me, I don't always like "posh" food but my wife does.

Central location of hotel , excellent rooms and service and an excellent breakfast

Fantastic location in the center of Florence, walking distance to most important sites. Spacious rooms with very comfortable beds and large bathroom. Superb breakfast. Beautiful pool terrace with amazing views.

Front desk could be more friendly.

We had a wonderful stay in the hotel, it was perfect from start to finish, the location is ideal, we walked everywhere, the room was spacious, the breakfast, the bet we had in Italy and the roof top pool and bar were just the icing on the cake, I can strongly recommend the hotel and I will definitely be returning.

the staff a very helpfull and most speak english. a great base for travelling around florence and tuscany, as the train station is five minutes away.

Central location over looking the square with easy access to the city centre. Staff very helpful and willing to book museum times etc. Swimming pool on the roof gave a great option to releax in the afternoon sun after a full day sightseeing.
