The hotel was conveniently located in the central part of town. You can walk to most of the sites easily. It was near the Santa Maria Novela train station which was convenient to catch a train or bus to go out of Florence. It was also near Fortezza de Basso where the conference I attended was being held. The hotel room was spacious with comfortable beds. Breakfast was outstanding and had a great selection of food.

We had some problem with the shower in our room as it was leaking.

Fabulous location. The staff was professional, helpful and friendly. I had an issue with my bill that they immediately took responsibility for and resolved without question. That very much impressed me and showed me that they value customer service. Our room was spacious but cozy, and the room was generally clean and functional. The facility offers everything you need to have a relaxing, enjoyable stay while exploring Florence. There are computer terminals to access the Internet, a nice restaurant that has a patio and offers room service, a beautiful rooftop pool with an amazing view and bar service, a bar, and a great breakfast dining room. Breakfast was delicious each morning and the wait staff was extremely courteous and friendly. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay at Gran Hotel Minerva.

There was a large, brown water spot on the ceiling of our hotel room that left us with a slightly diminished first impression, and the bed was not the most comfortable (although this is likely a matter of taste).

very pleasant.We share a suite for 4,and the view fom the window was excellent,the suite was large with 2 bedrooms each with its own bathroom

Great room (two floors!!), great location, great views from the roof! Wish we were there in summer to enjoy the pool!

Staff were wonderful. The roof top area was a beautiful spot to relax at the end of the day. Very good value for the price. Great location. Easy walking distance throughout the city center.

The Location is exellent and staff is very friendly. Room was cosy, clean and bright, but you should ask for a room with piazza view it will fill your journey with true and romantic impressions about Firenze. Close to the rail station and taxi as well.

Sometiomes it can be noisy as the walls are quite thin.

Location was fantastic. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was repetitive, but nice, so no complaints there. And the staff at the restaurant were friendly and helpful.

The walls between the rooms are quite thin, you can hear the noise in the next room. Also, just to be aware, there is a city tax imposed on top of the rate stated for the room in the booking.
