Good service and friendly staff. Hotel is in excellent situation with wonderful views from rooms overlooking the Bay of Naples. It is worth paying the extra for this. Breakfasts were excellent. Restaurant lacked atmosphere and menus were disappointing and expensive. |

we had room 520 on the fifth floor, the view was amazing, the room was not huge but it was big enough, the balcony was fab, the cleaners came twice a day, the pool was lovely, service very good, we reaaly enjoyed our honeymoon |

Very comfortable, attractive and clean rooms. Helpful and friendly staff. Great location, close to the centre of Sorrento, and in beautiful grounds. Would certainly recommend. |

Room was huge and well decorated. Staff accommodated my request for a room w/view. Many english language channels. Great pool, also ocean access and pier. Very central yet quiet. Quick walk to everything. Good breakfast. I was charmed. Not an issue for me but if you have a car its 25 euro day to park it. |

The staff were so obliging starting from the front office who made every effort to change our room to a bay facing one,to the chambermaid who was so cheerful and even the laundry service which was so superior to others we had experienced on our travels.The facilities provided by the hotel and the view from the the room and almost everywhere in the hotel was also fantastic, great value for money |

The views are beautiful< if you can splurge get a full view balcony room. the rooms are very big for europe standards.Great breakfast, the best of the whole 2and a half weeks. the pool was not heated. and with a hotel of this standard I dont think there should be a charge for internet.... |

The staff was great, recomending where to go and how to go. The views of the Vesubio were a great way to start your day and the location, for those not moving by car is excellent. The bus and train station is two blocks away as the centre of the city and yet, the place was enough quiet to rest. |

We enjoyed using the beach club during the day. We were with a wedding party and did not use any facilities at the hotel in the evenings. The location is excellent close to everything |

Very pleasant situation and staff very kind and helpful.Balcony and view wonderful. Smelly toilet seat that was stained with urine-not the cleaners fault you need new seats!It was the same last year when we stayed at this hotel.Beds have very thin and hard mattresses and are not very comfortable otherwise very happy with my stay at this hotel. |

Everything. The breakfast is fresh and rich. The staff is nice. Location is great. After stayng in Grand Hotel Royal we had one night in Rome: Waldorf Astoria collection - Cavalieri. And: hey: Grand Hotel Royal is much much much better then this one. I suggest to change the stars :) |

Lower area to rest in the shade by the ocean, close to downtown but still quiet at night, great great breakfast and great service in the breakfast room, beautiful lobby Bathroom had hair in tub from prior guests; purchased sea view balcony room - that's a stretch - had to look over neighbors balcony and they were not happy when we looked over them to try to see the sea, purchased partial sea view balcony for more money - no difference from sea view balcony - just more money, are you serious about the price for a cup of coffee? |

We took day trips to capri,positano,amalphi,ruvello, blue grotto, it was fantastic! Plus lunch at the hotels cliffside cafe and access to the beach was wonderful!. No. I woyld just add more fresh fruit to the breakfast |

The hotel was in a good location - the service and staff were excellent. The food was excellent. We had a lovely holiday. It was expensive. No tea/coffee facilities in bedroom. |

The simple but tasty lunches lunches served down by the sea. Watching the sunset. The friendly and helpful staff. That apart from a weekly buffet it was not possible to eat outside for breakfast and dinner. The weather was perfect and the hotel terrace had wonderful views and was perfect to watch the sunset. But most nights the only option was to eat in a dining room with no external windows |
