The old villa from which the hotel was derived is beautiful. I appreciated the elegant forniture and room decorations, particularly in the ground floor, which hosts a portrait of donna Florio by Giovanni Boldini.

It doesn't look like a standard Hilton. The maintanence staff should be replaced. Breakfast could be improved: the fruit juices were very disappointing and the fruit salad that was prepared the day before. The teapot had a plate on the top instead of a lid. Swimming pool is very small. Since there is not access to the sea, the hotel should offer boat trips to allow the guests to swim into the sea.

despite the number of staff, the service was very slow on a number of occasions. We booked a special deal incl Late Check-out and no one was aware of the provisions of the special deal until pointed out and they they still could not fully accomodate the full provisions of the late check-out. Also this hotel was definetly a 5 Star 10 years ago-not so sure about now, some common areas need upgrading

We had a fabulous 1 night stay at the Hilton on our way to Taormina to enjoy the rest of our honeymoon! It was exceptionally clean,the staff were fabulous and very helpful when asking directions to where we were heading the morning after and the breakfast was delicious! The hotel is very grand and clean throughout.Would def visit again.

The facilities of the hotel were very good the pool area and gardens were beautiful and very well maintained. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We had two excellent evening meals at the hotel's restaurant and the breakfasts were equally good with a very wide choice of dishes.

Given the position and standard of this hotel I would have expected a shuttle service to the centre of Palermo.

Rather erratic housekeeping and maintenance on international standards, but good for Sicily.

The old world charm of the hotel, yet with modern facilities. The great breakfast buffet. The extremely helpful front desk and concierge staff. The friendly staff from chamber maids to pool man.

The lack of facilities in the immediate vicinity. You had to drive or get taxis to go everything.

Sehr schönes Zimmer, mit Meersicht und Balkon. Wunderschöne Terrasse für den Good Night-Drink und schönes Swimming-Pool.

Minibarbezüge auf Abrechnung, welche wir eindeutig nicht bezogen haben. 19 Euro für das Frühstück finden wir happig.
