Centrally located, Gravina Rooms San Pietro is 400 metres from the Vatican City and offers contemporary rooms, a shared lounge, and free Wi-Fi throughout. Ottaviano Metro Stop is a 5-minute walk away....
Score from 303 reviews Excellent
One of the highlights of the luxurious Atlante Star Hotel has to be its rooftop restaurant where you can enjoy spectacular views of St. Peter’s Basilica while you eat.
Score from 419 reviews Good
Eurostars Roma Aeterna is in a former pharmaceutical factory in the pedestrian-only area of Rome's Pigneto, popular for its cafes and bars. Rooms are large and have free Wi-Fi.
Score from 1198 reviews Very good
Built and opened in 2010, Excel Rome St. Peter is located just outside Vatican City walls, 0.3 miles from Saint Peter's Square. It offers ultra-modern rooms with hardwood floors.
Score from 674 reviews Excellent
Stuff was friendly and helpful, really good value for the money. The place was quite, clean.
Not much places to go around besides Vatican City, but anyway can walk or go quickly to the other side of the river by taxi
The window blind is transparent. There is no privacy as such.
The Location is very close to the Vatican. The Staff is very helpfull and nice. T
Hotel is close to key historical spots, but still in some distance allowing to avoid noises of tourists crowds)); we've got an upgraded room just as they had a spare one; no complaints really - everything worked and was clean
Very basic breakfast but as heard from other travellers this is what every such level hotel in the region typically offers
Beds are so comfortable!! Great location, 10 minutes walk to St peters square and plenty of buses just outside the hotel.
A bit noisy, could here the people in the room next door when they got up!
Comfortable beds, good sized room and bathroom. Breakfast lovely with fresh fruit etc., totally adequate. Within walking distance of the train station San Pietro, perfect, as we had to get to Civitavecchia to board our cruise. €9.10 versus €140!
Wifi very weak in the room, best in the bathroom ;) Also not very strong downstairs near the router
Excellent location for the Vatican, only a few minutes walk to St Peter's Basilica, the other main sites (Colosseum,Forum etc) a bus ride away (bus 916) buses are regular and inexpensive (tickets from local newstands) and take you to Palazzo Venezia (good location for all the sites) Taxis are not expensive if you donot want to take a bus which are very crowded at peak times.
The location although convenient for the Vatican may not be for everyone as Hotel is on a back street but we found it OK. Roof Terrace has good views of St Peter's although closes at the beginning of October which was a shame although the very kind man at reception gave us a key so that we could sit and drink our own glass of wine before going out in the evening.
Terrace with a view
location was good but surrounding area very dirty and dark
Booked a room with a view of the Vatican and what I got was a street view and the stairs that climb the building, not what I payed for. The room was nice the shower was tiny!!! Like so small I couldn't turn without bashing the walls. Wifi only worked in the lobby nowhere else
We liked nothing as we were not allowed in!
We arrived at hotel only to be told that they couldn't accomodate us, although we had booked. They had booked us into a near by hotel. The manager was rude, and made no attempt to apologise. Our taxi had already left so we had to walk with suitcases across the main road and up a hill to different hotel. The management made no attempt to show us the way or to make sure that we coud mange our bags. It's a good job we are fit seniors. The other hotel was more expensive, but nicer. I would recommend that one.
Staff was nice rooms clean and location was great.
no elevator and you had to turn in your key every time you left the hotel.
The location very close to the Vatican and transport links.
I had notified the hotel when I booked that my wife is Coeliac. However when we arrived the Hotel had overlooked this and did not have suitable food. This was very disappointing.
Great, helpful staff, a fantastic modern, spacious room with a large balcony overlooking St Peters Basilica. Breakfast was excellent and secure parking for our car at a reasonable price. Hotel was easy walking distance to the Vatican, and there were some really nice non tourist restaurants very close.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location excellent. Clean. Loved the rooftop terrace.
There were no tea/coffee making faciliites - really disappointed. Wifi was useless - could only be used downstairs in reception in a certain place. Didnt work in the room.
location to vadican city
roof garden and bar was closed for winter ,so nowhere to sit and no facilities to use.breakfast was average and staff were just ok .On checking out we were asked to get cash from bank to pay the bill as they said card machine was playing up ???
those hotel is verry good to visit the vatican but it is far to visit the centrum of the town it need the bus to move and to see other things verry interesting about Roma
Reception staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast good. Modern clean room. Good location.
Wi- if unreliable No bath
Location near the Vatican is really great.
Night shift person did not set wakeup calls properly.
Arriving at the hotel we got told there was a double booking even although I booked my hotel in June, it happened to another four couples as well, the receptionist was unhelpful and if I hadn't kicked up a fuss I would haven't had got anything in compensation! I wouldn't recommend the hotel to anyone , we were treated terribly!
Location, modern facilities and very good service
Poor breakfast, room close to elevator, realy bad wifi signal!
The unpleasant lady that worked at breakfast time!
early check-in, free printing, close to Vantican
far awar from the Rome center, room is not very clean as their pictures show, the night shift reception guy is not willing to help, wifi is poor
Cleaniness, roof top terrace, modern and clean room, good location, ok breakfast
Broken safe, no wifi, no tea/coffee making facilities in room, lack of info in room about local area, how to use air on, how to contact reception etc
